Get in your best shape in 10 minutes a day!
 
Between homework and extracurrics, it can be tough to squeeze in time to breathe, let alone a major workout. That's why we've compiled our best-ever fast, fit and fun tips so you can feel amazing in just a few minutes a day. Plus, we're dishing on nutritious, on-the-go snacks to gobble and easy ideas that'll keep you fit during the holidays. Yep, sharing up this fall is gonna be a breeze!
 
Week 2: Roll with the Healthy Punches
 
EATS During the first few weeks of increased exercise, you're gonna be flat-out hungry. Keep sliced veggies (pepper, cukes) and cut-up fruit handy. They'll fill you up and keep you moving.
EXERCISE Get a stronger body by adding weights twice a week (start with 10 minutes and build up from there). A recent study found women who strength train are less likely to get stress fractures during exercise. Bonus: It'll improve posture and you'll look amazing!

Yep! You could sell to people in your neighborhood, family, and friends! If you sell it for cheap, you're more likely to make a profit. (But remember to also factor in the amount it will cost for jewelry supplies)

*********MODERATER******* Hey! Do you know of any ways i could make some money? I really don't want to ask my parents for any, and i've tried to baby-sit and pet sit nobody called me Frown We just moved and our neighborhood is really small. I don't know what to do!!! Thanks!

 

Try making jewelry or hot chocolate and selling it! You could also have a yard-sale! Or ask your parents if they need help with specific chores, and you could get an hourly wage.

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD! im on a competitive volleyball team and it should be fun, except there's this girl on my team who yells at us when we mess up. it makes everyone mad and really pressured, so we do worse. do you have any tips on how to shake off the pressure or to ask her to stop? thanks!

 

Let her know it's bothering you, and that you feel your team would do better with a more positive attitude. Acknowledge that mistakes happen, but getting yelled at is not going to fix them.

I'm pretty bad about eating healthy. If I don't like what's for dinner - like spinach, I don't eat dinner. (but later I'll sneak in a bag of cheddar sunchips or a bowl of cearal lol)

I don't lift weights. Pushups in PE are enough for me!

I do run,though - 2-4 miles 3xWeek plus the weekly mile in PE.I love it.

***MOD*** Me and my friends want to be Indians for Halloween but we dont know what to wear and we want to make our costumes! Any ideas? Thanks Emmily

 

Hey chica, you guys only need a few things to be Indians this Halloween. Wear brown or tan dress, if you don't have dresses, put on a tan or brown shirt and skirt. Pair the dress with sandals or flats and since it will be chilly, green, brown, tan or white tights. Wear your hair in two braided pigtails and wrap a headband around your head. For makeup put on black eyeliner and you could even wear face paint. Hope this helps ya! Smile

thats good. i habv x country everyday then ill b doing soccer i hope. so ill b in good shape. i do 25 sit ups every mornin n nite n 7 pushups every mornin n nite 2 cuz i gotta get my arms in shape. it helps u with running. trust me it does. n 7 cuz thats the HFZ at scol. lol. but im in good shape n will b in the best ever by the end of the school year. mayb itll motivate me more 2 go 4 jogs over summer if im already in shape. lol

They're not too expensive and can be found in most department stores, let alone exercise/sports stores. But otherwise, lift anything! Best, Miliana
