Cute Cowgirl Costume Alert!

 
Need a costume that's totally cool for school, too? We love Lily's laid-back cowgirl threads. Best part 'bout her get-up? It's not gonna cost ya a pretty penny. It's super-easy to make from stuff in your closet: flannel shirt (if ya don't have one borrow one from dad), classic blue jeans (obviously!) and laid-back cowgirl boots ('fess up we know you own them since they're one of Ms. Swift's faves!).
 
Pop your hair into cute pigtails and giddy-up!

Some of our suggestions? Add a cutesy cowgirl hat and put some ribbons on your pigtails to prett-ify it. So not a jeans girl? Don a dress instead with all the same extras. Yee-haw.

sorry but no... the shirt and boots are discusting... its an ugly color... i would go with a red flannal plad shirt and dark brown boots with lighter jeans

i'm going as a cowgirl but my costume is much cuter. I have skinny jean and adorable cowboy boots. With a purple flannel shirt and vest and a cute hat. My friends and i are going to braid our hair and give ourselves eye liner freckles.

MODSTER- so this halloween im going as a bumblebee, but i have no idea what to wear as my shoes. Heels are out of the question because i have to wear a walking cast on one foot because its broken. so something cute, comfy and something that will go with the costume. any ideas? thanks a bunch lola!

 

Hey girl! You could wear anything! Converse, flats, or a knee-high boot to match your cast! Take your pick and rock it!

ok for halloween i totally just had the greatest idea ever for a costume!! so i have this old red&white striped fort dodge senior high swimming/diving long sleeved shirt (my uncle went to HS there) and i have these light/sky blue jeans, red hat, and brown shoes. and guess who i am?? WALDO!! you know from those where's waldo books!!! lol

I'm going as Mother Nature! I'm wearing a green tee decorated with fake flowers and leaves glued on it. I'm also gonna glue butterflies on it and have a bird on my shoulder. I'll wear my khaki skirt with it (like tree trunks, see?) I'm just worried no one will know who I am!!! So I'm going to write 'Mother Nature' in green glitter glue on my shirt. Can't wait Wink

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD I can't think of anything to wear for halloween, i'm going with a few friends, but they're wearing costumes that go together-ketchup, mustard, relish, hot dog. I was thinking possibly candy corn and i would wear a white shirt, orange jeans, and yellow shoes, or yellow shirt, orange jeans, white shoes, what do you think?

Well I may be a little biased because I'm OBSESSED with Twilight, but that sounds like a great idea! Since she's not one of the major characters it's more creative and unique- and since you look like her it's perfect.  The gold contacts will def top it off.  Have so much fun!

ok this doesn't look like a halloween costume at all (Grace264<3: its supposed to look like shes ready for halloween duh...except i dont think she does!!) at least add a hat, maybe a trick-or-treat bag that looks like a lasso or something. its just way too bland now. i mean, i can't really even tell this is your halloween costume, it looks too normal. i would say look online at some costume stores for their ideas on how to do a cowgirl costume right!!!!!

I want to have a warm costume that i dont need a coat for and one that i can sit in cause i am going to a coffee with my mom and dad and there buddys on halloween( i know, I know... but there friends are real cool)

Hey girl! Sounds super cute and creative! You can put a little makeup on, maybe some off-color red lipstick and get some on your teeth or something! Throw your hair in braids or in a really nerdy clip and you're good to go!

Okay, so I have a dance coming up in about a week. It's at night, but I have no idea what to wear! It needs to be cute, yet casual, and super comfortable enough for dancing.
I also don't know what to do for my hair and makeup either.

Hey girl, why not go for a knee length dressy casual dress and some fun accessories. Wear your hair up definitely -- dances get way hot and you can always tie a ponytail with curls or a bun into your dress with hair accessories that match it. Depending on the dress code, you could go for anything from a dinner-type dress (silk-ish) to just a plain sundress. As for shoes? Go for flats. Heels are way hard to dance in. Make-up? Match it to your dress! Hope this helps!

ehhhhh i dont rly like it. pretty bland...i cant exactly tell what u r. maybe try some like real cowgirl-type gear i.e. **hat** for starters. then like a belt, and a fake bullet sash thing for trick-or-treating (not school obviously!!) look online at some diff costume stores for more ideas!!!

You can try pulling the top layer back either all together or in two sections, one on either side of the back of your head. You can spice up the look with cute clips or barrettes. You can also headbands or braids.

I have a guy problem...
All the guys that I used to have a crush on were jocks-they were athletic and outgoing, because that's how i am. Well, this time, I'm crushing on a guy who's totally different: he's very very very quiet, shy, doesn't play many sports, and focuses on his studying and is super smart. Since I've never had a crush on this type of guy before, I have no idea how to talk to him. I've tried, but all he does is answer my question and then continue whatever he was doing. I've tried to find something that we have in common so we can talk about it, or even tried to ask about an assignment in class, but he doesn't talk very much. Please help, I really want to become good friends with him!
