Is My BF TOO Boring?!

 

My boyfriend is really sweet but he doesn’t do anything. We’ve been going out for several months but he is shy and I’m the one who asks him to dances, movies, the roller rink, or anything like that.


My best friend’s boyfriend does all of that plus gives her gifts for no reason and requests songs on the radio. Should I dump him?

MOD MOD MOD**** what does this mean? I'm so confused. 2 years ago, I was new to my school. This really popular group of kids at school decided it would be funny if one of the guys wrote 2 love notes to me asking me out. I said no, and it went on for about a year. I kind of knew they were a joke and everything, but I still kind of liked the guy anyway. (let’s call the guy C) anyway, I thought it had blown over now that we are in high school, but just recently, C's best friend, N, came up to me and said "Do you remember back a couple of years ago when C gave you those notes?" I said "Yeah and I know it was all a fake.” N said, “No! It wasn’t! C really has feelings for you!” Then my friend showed up and he left. But that isn’t what bothers me. He has said that a lot before. No, what confuses me is what happened next. The next week I was in the lunch line with my friend. C’s little group of popular friends were staring at me. Then, when I was out of the lunch line, I heard my name come up in their conversation and they stared at me all the way to my table and a little after that. What does it mean? I have solid proof that it was all a joke, but I recently started caring about my looks, so I have become prettier. Maybe C does really have a crush on me now? I don’t know… Help me, please!

I know, it's so frustrating when you don't know whether or not a guy is really interested in you or not! It might be possible that it really was a joke before, but that this guy has developed a crush on you recently. Keep on the lookout for more signs of him flirting with you. Next time his friend comes up to you, say something like, "Okay, if he really likes me, then tell him to come up and talk to me himself." Say it nicely and genuinely with a smile and see what happens next.

At the beginning of summer I met this guy and started to like him. He and I became rly close friends and i told him i liked him. he said he just wanted to be friends and then asked some girl out. then he invited me to go to the mall with him and one of his guy friends. I went and his gf just ended up being there and so we went over to tlk to her. Then after that he txted me saying i was hot but that he likes his gf better than me. Then after that he said he was dumping his gf and that he wanted to ask me out but didn't think it would work out. Then my friend that knows him said that he told her he was going to dump his gf for me. He said that was true and that he had to wait to dump her bc she was out sick with the swine flu. then i heard frum 2 of my friends that he had 3 gfs. I asked him and he said no and that our relationship wasn't working. I was like wat relationship u haven't even asked me out yet and he was like watever i don't like u nemore. Then i got rly upset wen i was tlking to him and was saying i was ugly and he said no u r rly pretty. THen i heard he asked my friends best friend out. It's probably a good thing if you're over this guy. It sounds like he's a major player who wants a girlfriend (or three!) without any of the work or commitment. Wait for a guy who can pay you a nicer compliment than that he thinks you're "hot." That's something anyone can say. MOD I like this guy but he's kinda annoying,B/c he sings and says random things, but it doesn't bother me. He's popular and soooooo cute. I sit next to him in math and were a team. One time he kept getting his face closer and closer to mine until my head waz the same level as my chair. and when he sat in front of me he always looked back and smiled at me. He also leaned back on my desk. When he sat next to me in sci. he always made me laugh ,by saying random things. Hey girl, sounds like it's a mix of both. I would keep your crushes to yourself right now especially if she likes the same guy. As for her? She is being a bit of a drama queen, def, but lend your support even if it's half-hearted. In the end, you're totes right: boys should never get in the way of a friendship, and it's the boy's choice who (if either) of you he dates. For now relax and don't sweat it. Boys come and go, but friends are forever.

I thnk my cousin hates me. I don't want him to but he does. He spreads rumors about me and makes fun of me. He calls me names and tells everyone that I'm gay (I know thats OK) but its a lie. Okay I like this guy, named Conner. He is in almost all my classes and he sits right behind me in most of them. We are always goofing around together and just having fun. This is a commentfor Is my BF too Boring? I think that it's really funny because I'm having the same problem right now. My BF asked me out like 2 1/2 weeks ago. MOD MOD MOD MOD MODDDD OK so I really like my boyfriend- a L.O.T. Like its ridiculous, I think he's amazing. But the thing is we never act like we're going out. We barely ever talk or anything. He held my hand *once* and its really sad for me. I want to be a good girlfriend and keep liking him but I keep getting shot down by lots of my friends and other people in my school. However, others are trying to save our relationship. I don't know what to do anymore!! PLEASE HELP!!

***MOD*** hey! omg, i havent been on here 4evr! lol. anyway, im havin a little trouble w/ my bff. she kinda like, ignores me when i try 2 tlk 2 tlk 2 her sometimes. and like, she's sarcastic @ times. Also, we hav Algebra 2gether and she always tlks 2 me when the teacher is tlkin, and its just kinda annoyin me! i've made hints that i dont like the sarcasim, but nothin works. i dont wanna b mean, but i dont kno how 2 tell her stop doin this stuff! Hey girl! Tell her the sarcasm is gettin a little old and you're over it. Make it a joke but you can get your point across. Let her know you really have to get a good grade in algebra and you can talk after class or something.

mod mod mod modm od mod mod mod mod mod ok so me and my bf have gone out from the middle of this summer we used to be nervouse and we talk but now im getting nervouse again my friends and i were talking at lunch and there like you havent hugged or at least held his hand?!?!?!?! and i said no so my friend marina got up and just left the table me and gloria were laughing until i found she brought my bf back with her!!! her an gloria smushed my and my bf together and kept putting is arm around me but then i kinda realized...i kinda liked it but im still nervouse and so is my bf....wat do i do?

 

Hey girl! You can try holding his hand for a little bit one day. It will get easier and you'll feel less nervous the more you do it. And, tell your girls to chill. You're still young and certainly don't have to rush anything!

MOD: ok heres the deal, im in luv with this guy i have known forever!!! our sisters are realy good friends and our moms are too. we txt all the time, and are good friends but now my bestie told him i love him and she started bugging him lik crazy. i hate it cuz he ignores me half the time. i used too think he liked me back wat should i do!!! He is sendin mixed signals reply asap thanx!!!!!!

MODMODMOD ok so i have these weird dreams about people, they are mostly about people who i havent seen in a while. i dont remember the dreams in the morning but i remember that i was mad at this person for some reason in the dream even if they did nothing to upset me in reality. these dreams are taking over my life! im not kidding.i hate how these dreams are filling up my mind and i cant focas on stuff. how can i help make these dreams go away??? i need help!!! thx a bunch

 

Hey girl! Hmmm...tough one. Try writing them down when you wake up. Getting them out of your head and onto paper might help you combat those pesky dreams. If not, try see a doc to see whats up!
