One thing I found that works really well with younger kids is the "Art Buffet!" Bring a few of your own (kiddie-safe!) art supplies. Then set the supplies and paper in a "buffet" line. Have the kids sit down at each station and do an arts and crafts project. Then they can show off all their artsy goodies to the parents when they arrive!
