I was IMing my boyfriend last night (it was our anniversary) and we were just asking each other random questions. We've been dating for awhile, but we still hadn't said "I love you" to each other yet.

When we were talking he asked me if I loved him. I stared at the screen for awhile, then typed yes. He didn't say anything, so I said, "Awkward...sorry" and he said, "I'm shaking." I asked why, and he said, "Because I love you, too." I typed back, "Promise?" and he said, "Absolutely." I went to sleep with a smile on my face!

MOD MOD MOD Ok, I have a problem with 2 guys. There both my guy friends(lets call them V and C). Well V ha been acting like a jerk lately and IDK why. I didnt do anything to make him mad soo I have no ide why hes acting hateful to me. He wont tell me why though. What should I do about him? And C, well he has been acting strange. Hey girl! As for V, I'd say just let things be. Let him know that you're sorry if you did anything to upset him, but you don't appreciate the mean comments. If he keeps acting mean, stop trying to make such an effort to talk to him all the time. You deserve to be treated better. As for C, next time he says something mean, let him know that it was kinda rude. If he's nice sometimes, he may just be trying to tease you without realizing that it's actually not funny. Okay, so I've like the same guy for 10 months and he has known about it. (I broke up with him 10 months ago because I thought he liked another girl. He didnt, but he got over me fast and I never stopped liking him). We hang out almost every weekend and I got to his house often. Yesterday at a Halloween party, he sat next to me while we watched a scary movie and we were touching shoulders and we shared a pillow to duck our heads under during the scary parts. He says he likes another girl, but then he acts like he likes me and I think hes leading me on. I dont know what to do, should I not give up and keep liking him, or try to get over him? i think I love him.

I dont think you love him. I think you like him and he might like you too. Be careful and if he's hanging out with you all the time, thats a good sign. See where it goes, but don't come on too strong. Best,

I have had things like that happen with me. I dont know why but sometimes its just much easier to say things when IMing than to say them in person.

You just have to watch out because its easy to let things get out of hand and you or him end up saying something you regret later.

Okay, so I like this guy A LOT. He's sorta friends with me, but I know two girls like him and I think another one does. I know he doesn't like one of them, but about the other two I'm not sure about because he sometimes flirts with them. Though he has no reason not to like them, he has no reason not to like you either! Try not to think of it as a competition - he's the only person you have to impress and if he doesn't like you for who you are then you wouldn't want to go out with him anyway. If you two do wind up going out, then hopefully the other girls will realize the same thing, but if not all that matters is that you two are happy together. If the other girls get jealous or mean, you two should be able to ignore it.
