Basketball Boo-Boo

I was trying to impress my crush because he's really into basketball. I'd been practicing and he was looking at me. I threw it hard. It bounced off the rim and came back and whacked me in the face, giving me a bloody lip. My crush couldn't stop laughing and now he calls me big lip. It was so embarrassing!!

mod: im so confused right now. i have a bgf and he said that he likes me and if he didnt have a girlfriend he wanted to go out with me. and he always asks if i like him. i told him its a 50/50 chance. he always plays footsies with me and flirts with me. he's my bgf tho! and i might like him cuz he's leading me on but i get mad/jealous when he tells me how he madeout w/ his gf! so i have mixed feelings right now. how should i deal with this?

Hey girl, if your bgf has a gf, he definitely shouldn't be flirting with you! It's never a good idea to be the other woman because that will just lead to tons of drama and stress for you. If you really like him, just stay friends with him and see how things work out between him and his gf. But make sure he knows that it's not okay for him to flirt with other girls, especially not you, if he's in a relationship. Best, Kristen

Hey girl! I know you feel kinda embarassed about it, but you should def try to ask him before anyone else does! Next time you're talking to him, bring up the subject of the dance class. Tell him whether you're excited about it or not, or just ask him about whether he's looking forward to it. Ask him if he has a partner yet, and if not, just ask if he'd like to be yours. It's scary, but if you get to dance with him, that would be awesome! Good luck~ kristen

Hey girl! Try asking your mom or a friend to helpyou out with the curling. See if they have any tips for how to get those funky parts of your hair just right. If it looks kinda messy, try pulling half of it back. You can also try rollers or scrunching to give your hair that curly look without using an iron. Best, Kristen

Hey girly, here are my three answers!

1. I think BGFitis happens to a lot of girls because they spend sooo much time with them. And in that time they share secrets and learn so much about them they can't help but to be attracted to them.

2. Ask him out the way you would any of your friends. Say something like "Wanna go to the movies Saturday?"

3. You're nervous because that's what happens when you're around someone you like. It probably seems weird right now because he used to be your BGF.

ugh ive done something like that except it was during kickball... i was running with my hurt ankle and i tripped and face planted in front of my entire grade!!! (it was our weird not-really-school-just-kickball-day... dont ask) and then my gym teacher made fun of me. oh yeah. MEME!!!! (most embarrassing moment ever!!!!!!!)

I tell him all the time that I just like him as a friend and I have gotten over him and that he should get over me but he won't, and he thinks I will get jelaous if he makes up girls and its soo annoying. I don't know how else I can tell him its over and its never gonna happen EVER again! Thanks MOD.

You may have to tell them that you will never talk to him again if he doesn't accept you as a friend. Threatening him may be the only way to get him to stop.

MOD! My ex texts me all the time asking if I love him, if I miss him as a bf, and tells me over and over again that he misses me and loves me. I broke up with him twice and told him I would still like to be his friend but every time we text he asks me if I have a bf and if I miss him and I tell him the truth no and he just asks over and over again asking if he moves to the town I live if I will go out with him again. I don't like him and I broke up with him because he is a liar and he has told me in the past what he has lied to me about and he told me he has changed and I know he hasn't. He keeps claiming he has never lied to me but he has pretty muck lied to me about his whole life. P.S. I did not meet him over the computer or anything but he lives in a diffrent town so he can lie about everything.

Hey chica, it may be best you end this thing with him. Tell him you liked having him as a boyfriend and enjoyed spending time with him, but now it's over. Let him know you don't have a problem talking to him you just don't want anything romantic. This way you won't have to go through this same thing with him.

last night was Halloween and I had a friend over. Everything was going great until my dad started yelling because of small things that had gone wrong and my parents started fighting. i wanted to be alone because I knew I was about to cry, so I ran to the bathroom. Right as I was closing the door my friend had to come follow me. She wouldn't let me have any personal space! My parents ruined my whole Halloween and now I don't know if my friend will ever like them again. I was humiliated. PLEASE help soon! I hated my Halloween! I really need your help!

Aw I'm so sorry this happened. Your friend was probably unsure of what to do and also wanted to help console you. Text or call her later today and apologize that she had to sit through that all. Maybe even talk to your parents about not acting like that when your friends are over (or at all!). I'm sorry; I do know the feeling. Best, <3
