Unfortunate Fizzle

I went to a Bat Mitzvah and I had my period. Of course I was stupid enough to buy a white dress. When we were all playing Coke and Pepsi I got paired with my crush! But unfortunately, I had gotten so caught up in the party I forgot to go change. My crush and I were one of the last ones to get out so everyone was watching. When we stood, he shouted, "GOD! You leaked on my pants!" and I also had a HUGE stain on the back of my white dress. It was terrible!

Ow. Just...ow. but as I have said before, one way or another you'll make a good (or bad if it sticks around) memory out of it. Plus, if you get serious with the guy, he may just give you a cute nickname cuz of it! (just a guess. i'm not phsycic. i wish i was.) But hey, white dresses are pretty, and you couldn't prevent it from happening. (Just out of the blue, all I know about the coke or pepsi game is those books with like 25 quizzes in them, is there another game that i'm not aware of?)

to get the point i want to know if my period is around the corner.
1) my breast has been budding since the age of nine (im 11)
2) ive had pubic hair since nine also
3) my last growth spurt i grew ALOT! and it was about 5 months ago
4) i have armpit hair
5) a 32 a bra size in womens.
and this is the hard part. i really dont see any "clear" dischaarge in my undies but i see some brown damp stuff in my underwear.
is this discharge ?
and is my period on its way ?

Hey girl, it was alright. As for your Q, that brown stuff is spotting -- that's a big yes. Wear pantyliners and be prepared. It should be coming way soon.

Hey girl! Don't freak too much. I know it's a common fear but you'll know if you start your period. It's a quick save and you'll be good to go!

omg i can totally realate. today i got my period in school and i wasn't prepared an i had on white skinny jeans and it leaked so badly. i ended up having to come home early becasue i was so mortified about it. now i'm afriad to set foot in my school building again... i heavily feel nervous now and even though i've had my period for nearly 3 years, it still freaks me out if i start it in school. today i should've figured out it was gonna start because i never have cramps but today i woke up with cramps so bad i couldn't stand up straight for part of the morning.

i got my period and it not fun. my mom says that tapons would hurt( she used it when my age not like it ) but think i would at least like to try them because pads feel like diapers! also look at my profile and leave me help with boys.

well the second time i got my period i used a tampon because my friends invited me to go swimming. it wasn't bad at all wearing it or putting it in but it really hurt taking it out. so the next time i wore it longer hoping if i absorbed more it wouldnt hurt as bad, but it still hurt. should i switch to a diff tampon?

Make sure you're starting with "Junior" or "Light" tampons. But usually when it absorbs more, it's less painful to remove. Best,

Hey girl, try going for lighter pads. Maxi pads will def stick out more than a thin pad or overnighter and you really don't need a pad that thick.

When I had mine, I just went to the washroom and noticed, but i've never had something that bad happen at school, or anything. I HATE my period, though, and it lasts, like, 7 days. So annoying.

MOD MOD MOD MOD!!! Ok now that HOPEFULLY I have your attention...I woke up this morning with an AWFUL headache it got so bad that I threw up (I know gross right?) Later that day I went to the bathroom and there was blood ALL in the "crotch" of my underwear!This has happened a couple times before but with several months in-between..I'm confused did I 'start' and is it related to my headache???

Hey girl! It prob is your period. You could just have come down with pre-menstural symptoms and that is what the headache was. If you're super concerned head to the doc and they will be able to better help you!

Hey girl! Its been an entire year since that accident, so boys pbly forgot about it. They might not even remember anything, since its a new year, make it a new you. Just talk to as many guys as you can and be really nice to everyone. Guys might not be ready to date in 6th grade, so give it some time.

Hey missy, as long as you get the right tampon for you it won't be uncomfortable. If you get one that slides in easy and fits, it won't hurt at all and you'll forget you're even wearing one. And you don't have to be embarrassed about wearing a pad. There are other girls on your soccer team and I'm sure they'll be or have been waering ones. We're all women and we all go through the same things, so no worries.

Hey girlie,

If you're fine with pads, then I would say just stick with those! Maybe try a tampon next time you go swimming and you have you're period, but otherwise, if pads work for you then I wouldn't worry about it.

wow.. i sypmathinze with you. so last year on my second period i had a volleyball game. forgetting about the 3 day thing then it comes back i forgot i was still going to get it for one more day. so i put on my spanx (or really tight volleyball shorts) and played the game. my friend came over and then i went to the bathroom to pee. i then notice a HUGE stain on my pants. i mean like blood red. but heres the catch..they were black and it only looking like maybe they were a little wet, ya know? i could see the red b/c some of the inside was lined in white. i was so thankful that i couldnt find my team shorts in blue. i started throwing a bunch of what-if out there. but it happens! comment on my pro! ~~

Personally, I don't have my period and I don't want to.
