My theme song right now is You Belong With Me. I like this guy who rides my bus. Let's call him Sam. Well, he's going out with a girl one year older than me (I'm a freshman and they're both sophmores). Whenever I see him, my eyes are just like magnetically drawn to him and then when I see him my heart just kind of drops and I feel so upset that I'm not the girl he likes. But I don't know him all that well yet (we just met this year and the only way I know him is from the bus and cheering for him in fball). I haven't told anyone and if I were to tell him that I like him, it would make things BEYOND awkward. LIke there's no point in telling him. UGH IDK WHAT 2 DO.

since he's already dating someone else I think the best thing you can do is try to get over him. Try not to go out of your way to see him and try to focus on your friends and schoolwork for awhile.

Guys can be dumb, so be a bit obvious in your flirtations. Smile, make eye contact, make an effort to touch his arm or brush his chest with your hand, ask him about him, compliment him, joke around, laugh, be silly, make fun of him, or just flat out tell him how you feel.

We had a halloween dance Thursday and theres this guy i really like named Donnavan and he has a brother a year older named Dylan who im good friends with. Well Dylan knows I like Donnavan and he said Donnavan likes me, and that he told him that and everyone keeps telling me he likes me. Donnavan knows i like him too and we flirt a little and hes always starin at me and tryin to sit with me but sometimes neither of us know what to say and it gets akward and our faces go red and stuff. anyways donnavan is really shy and at the dance he tried to ask me to slow dance but some guy cut him off and all this. he was lookin at me talkin to other guys the whole dance and told dylan that he wanted to talk to me but was too shy. well i walk home with him and dylan gave donnavan a signal to put his arm around me... donnavan did it and i was like okay and just stood there then he could tell it was akward for me so he let go and said jk. then donnavan asked me for a hug. ive never hugged him before. i gave him one and he smiled. then i got really cold and he offered me his jacket. i said no thanks because i didnt really need one. then we keep walking and he askes me what my fav color is and tells me happy birthday (it was my bday)and then my friend turns to him when she thinks im not listening and says ask her out! and he says well... i like her but i dont. and she said ask her out! and he said okay but never did. he asked me for a hug again and smiled... again. i went home while dylan was congratulating him on his hugs. well everyone keeps telling me this means he likes me but is scared to ask me out or he likes me but doesnt want it to be even more akward if we go out. What does he mean when he says this?

hey mod i have a question. i think this 8th grade guy likes me a little becuz hes always like hanging around me in gym class and kinda lookin at me in morning forum, but when my friend joey asked him out for me he said no but now i think he actually likes me a little bit and i like this other guy and then this other guy and ones in my grade and the others in 6th but i think one of them likes me and that the other one only thinks im cute. im all confused i know there isn't really a question in this but do you think any of them like me? thanks!

I can't for sure from what you've said whether any of them like you, but I think you should concentrate on the guys your own age. I think the 8th grade guy is probably a little bit too old for you. Get to know these guys better and you'll be able to tell if they like you.

ok so I really like this guy...last year he had 3 classes with me, we used 2 sit by each other in 2 classes...when he talked 2 me he would get so close to me... he would always try to touch me(he tried to touch my face but backed out) and tease me but in a nic way...and he used to smile at me even if he was with his friends across a whole lunchroom or bus on a field trip....lets just say hes way more popular then me...but now we dont have any classes 2gether.. and he doesnt talk 2 me anymore... but I have a lot of mutual friends with him...we lock eyes for a few seconds walking in the hallway.. so now I have 2 QS..
did he like me last year?
and how to get back 2 talking w/ him now?
and BTW im really shy and i dont want him 2 think that im weird or that im jumping on him too fast

Hey girl, it's hard to say for sure but there are def signals that he liked you a bit last year. Now, however? Try arranging a get-together with your mutual friends over the weekend and invite him. Maybe go trick-or-treating and have a movie night with the group? Find a spare moment and catch up with him. See where his feelings have gone. Friends for now or something more in the future, be open. You never know what may be there.
