Cozy-up your room!

 
Cold weather keepin' ya inside? Sigh. If the weather outside is frightful, keeping your room cozy is a must. Spruce up your space so it's all warm 'n' toasty before winter sets in.
 

An adorable fleece blanket is great to snuggle up to in snowy weather. No need to stash it when you're done—just toss it over a chair or fold it at the bottom of your bed to give your room a super comfy feel.

 


TIP: The warmest colors for rooms are typically reds, oranges, and browns. For a fast fix without painting four walls, throw some colored pillows on your bed for a burst of cozy.

 

Kick back in bed with some books or homework. This fab bed desk is perf for your laptop or your copy of Jane Eyre. Lounge in your jammies all day but still get your work done.

TIP: While cramming for quizzes and tests in bed is usually a big no-no, studying in bed is OK—as long as you stay focused. Making flashcards and copying some notes are both bed-worthy moves. As a reward relax with a movie under your covers when you're done!


Cozy up a corner or two with some cute candles! Lighting a few around your room adds just the right touch of whimsy and a way-sweet smell. Just remember to blow out the flame when you’re peacin' out of your place! 



 

TIP: Reed diffusers are a great alternative to candles since they're less messy and you don't have to blow 'em out before you leave.

 

Flip a switch and place a little lamp next to your bed for some extra soft light. Adding some illumination always ups a space's cheer factor. A glitter lava lamp adds sparkle to your space.

TIP: There are two super important places to have light in your room: your desk and your bedside table. Choose a fun, funkier lamp for a dash of pizzazz while you're solving math problems. An easily reachable lamp right near your sleep space is best for late-night reading.


An area rug is an instant room booster. A shag will style up your space and add some funk to your floor Already have a carpeted room? No prob! Throw one down anyway...a little extra cushion never hurt anyone!

TIP: Don't wanna shell out the big bucks? Ask your fam or friends if they have any extra carpet squares from any recent room redos. Cut into a creative shape—like a heart—to make it even cuter!

Hey chica, you could still use the tips in the article.  You don't have to rearrange or move things in your room, you can just add things to it like a big cozy blanket or fuzzy rugSo get to cozining up your space! Smile

***MOD***MOD***MOD*** i have nothing to do on halloween. my friends all have plans. its really disapointing cuz i really like my costume and wont get a chance to wear it. it makes me really sad. this is the only year that i havent been sick on halloween and i was planning on it being really fun. but i have nothing to do. and i dont wanna hang with my lil bro and rents. what do i do?

 

Hey chica, ask your friends if you can hang with them. You could always cuddle up on your couch with a big bowl of popcorn and watch scary movies, and save your costume for next year. Smile

MOD OKAY SO MY "FRIEND" ALWAYS IGNORES ME AND EVERY TIME I MAKE A NEW FRIEND SHE COMES AND IGNORES ME AND STARTS TALKING TO HER AND THEN THEY BECOME FRIENDS EVERY TIME I SAY HI SHES LIKE OH HI AND EVERY TIME SOMEONE ELSE COMES SHE SAYS OMG!!! HI!!!!! ITS SO IRRITATING THAT IM STARTING TO HATE HER!!!! ALL MY FRIENDS HANG OUT WITH HER AND IM ALWAYS ALL ALONE EATING LUNCH ALONE NOW I PRACTICALLY HAVE NO FRIENDS I SPEND MY TIME IN TE BATHROOM!!!! THE WHOLE LUNCH PERIOD I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO SHES BEEN MY FRIEND FOR 4 MONTHS AND STUFF AND WELL ANOTHER REASON I EAT LUNCH IN THE BATHROOM IS CUZ I DO HAVE FRIENDS BUT WERE NOT LIKE FRIENDS ENOUGH TO EAT LUNCH TOGETHER.... SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MY SOCIAL LIFE IM A REALLY SHY PERSON AND EVERYONE ELSE SEEMS SO COOL EXCEPT FOR ME THEY'RE ALWAYS FUNNY FUN SMART AND ALL THAT AND ME I'M JUST BORING I NEVER MAKE ANY ONE LAUGH AND I NEVER KNOW WHAT TO TALK TO THEM ABOUT. Hey chica, if you feel you guys don't click anymore, it may be time to find some new friends. As we get older, we sometimes find that friendships we had years ago aren't the same. We aren't as close to the person as we used to be. But if you want to try to work your friendship out, talk to them about it. Let them know you feel left out and want things to go back to the way they used to be. Hope this helps ya! Smile

Hey girly, you should casually ask him for his number or give him yours.  When you ask him tell him you just got a cell phone and are putting all your friend phone numbers into your phone and you want his. Hope this helps ya!

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD. (: I wanna start wearing eyeliner. I have (pretty, kinda) brown eyes, I already wear mascara, and I don't want the 'wing' effect like Katy Perry or anything. I want something that will make my eyes look good, since they are my best feature. Help mee: pencil, liquid, etc, what colors to use? Thanks!

 

Hey chica, try getting the black liquid eyeliner (Mac has a great eyeliner products) and apply it to either or both your top and bottom lid. Just glide the pencil along your lids and it will make your eyes pop. Smile
