mod(again) I'm head over heels in love. with a store. I went on anthropolies website and i absoulutey loved almost every dress on there. the only problem is theyr 200, even 300 dollars! what makes it worse, my mom shops there sometimes so i have to be even sadder by seeing the clothes in person! does any store have cheaper alternatives to clothes like that?

ok, I am freakin out, yet again!!!now I'm seriously nervous..ok, my dad made breakfast this morning with bacon, idk if it was done all the way or not because it was kinda like rubbery and flexible and not rly crunchy like it's supposed 2 be. Well, now I'm freaked out that I'm getting salmonella, e-coli, or swine cuz I've got the worst stomach ache everr!!!!I've gone 2 the restroom numerous times and I've felt like I was gonna puke..however, I talked 2 my mom b4 she fell asleep, and she dsnt think I can get sick 4m the type of bacon my dad cooked, but she wsnt entirely sure...and my dad said he dsnt hav a stomach ache either...the thing tht I'm most scared about is that if I do hav salmonella or n e of that, I'm gna die in my sleep 2nite..help me plz!!!!!!

Hey girl! You are fine! Sometimes bacon isn't crunchy, but believe your dad when he says it was cooked. He's probably been cooking bacon longer than you've been alive. Your stomach might just hurt because you ate greasy bacon (I can't eat bacon because it upsets my stomach soo bad) so take a Tums and relax. You are perfectly fine!

I have really really thin hair. But for competitive cheerleading i have to curl it. problem is it wont hold a curl! if i use a curling iron it goes striaght within an hour. i used gel and wet hair and put it in rollers once, but when i woke up i have wet non-curly hair. i think it was just to wet but idk. anyways how can i get curls!

Hey girl!  For a tight bun, put your hair into a ponytail first.  Twist it until it wraps around the base of your ponytail into a bun shape.  Secure it there with a bunch of bobby pins, and you're good to go!  best, Kristen

Hey girl!  It really depends on how dressy this occasion is.  I'm guessing it's fairly professional.  I'd suggest a dress skirt or slacks and a blouse with a cute vest and heels.  As for accessories, a cute headband and some chain necklaces and a cuff will add a nice finishing touch.  Have fun! ~Kristen

MOD MOD ok, I have REALLY dry hands, in the winter they crack and bleed really easy and even though I try lotion that last a few hours, if I'm lucky. Today I was at this art & craft show and there was a guy there selling this lotion that was suppose to keep your hands mosturised for 3 days, but after an hour I could tell my hands were getting dryer. I've tryed different lotions but nothing works! When I was younger my doctor told my to try this one lotion, but it was oily and smelled gross. Any home remidies for some dry hands?

 

Hey girl!  I don't have any home remedies, sorry!  There are some creams that are oily and smell gross, but they tend to work the best.  I would use the oily one before you go to bed, so you don't have to worry about doing things with your oily hands, and use a different one that's less oily during the day.  Best, Kristen

MODS: okay, this is REALLY bugging me. i have the oiliest skin ever, and on the outside curve of my mouth it's SO dry. i only use clean and clear's acne cleanser [since i have mild acne on my cheeks] and at night i use a prescription topical. what should i use to moisturize a small part of my face?? thank you!

 

Hey girl!  There are tons of facial moisturizers out there that keep the skin from getting way dry without making it super oily.  I like Curel, but everyone's skin is different, so you have to find what you like best.  Just check out your local Target and experiment with a few brands to see what works for you.  Good luck~Kristen

Hey girl!  Everyone's skin is different, so different products work well for diff gals.  If your skin is really sensitive, a brand called Cetaphil makes face and body wash specifically for sensitive skin.  As for moistuizers, there are tons out there for you to try.  I personally like Curel lotion.  Best, Kristen

MOD!!! ihave a BIG problem (i think). so im a cheerleader and we cheer for three football teams, but our squad is so large we are also split into three squads. anyways we have playoff games coming up and all three teams are goin. my coach just told us that we have to cheer for eight hours straight, so we can cheer as one squad. the football players are'nt even playing thatlong, and we have to decide if we want to cheer for the games or quit cheerin. wat do i do??? sorry for the length.

Hey girl!  I'm not sure what stores have smaller bangles.  You might be able to find some at a jewelry store like Claire's or even American Eagle.  All I can say if just keep looking around.  I know it's frustrating (I have small fingers, and have the hardest time finding rings that fit), but you will be able to find some.  ANd when you find a brand or store that works well for you, stay true to it, and keep looking there for your bangle bracelets.  best, Kristen

Hey girl!  I only exofoliate once a day, max two.  If you do it too much, your skin can get really dried out.  I don't have clear skin remedies, but there are a ton of recipes for face masks and exfoliating masks on the site.  Go to the Search box and check 'em out!  best, Kristen

hey girl!  Try using listerine of some type of mouthwash on a regular basis to really get into all those crevices in your mouth to help eliminate the smell.  Also, try to avoid stinky foods like onions, and go for fresh-smelling foods like fruits.  Best, kristen

I kind of have three Qs but on one subject. 1) I'm going to bleach my armhair because its so dark, so where can you get it bleached and how much is it? 2) Does it make a big difference if you have dark brown arm hair? 3) Is it a thing where you have to keep doing it like once a month to keep it light? Hey girl!  Some salons may bleach your arm hair, but there are also kits that you can use yourself that are way cheaper.  I've never used it before, so I don't really know the price, sorry!  just look around and see what you can find.  Bleaching, regardless of your hair color, will end up costing the same price for the bleach.  Unfortunately, it is something you have to do regularly too.  Best, Kristen

MODMODMOD************** ok so at the beginning of the school year i sat next to this guy in one of my classes. I didn't know him, but he started talking to me a lot. He would always talk to me and make me laugh and tell me how good i looked.sometimes i would also catch him looking at me. im pretty shy, so didn't really talk to him that much, but now i regret it. i started to really like him, and all my friends thought that he liked me. so then we got our seats changed and i didn't sit next to him anymore. i don't have any other classes with him either. its been like this for about a month now, and i haven't talked to him at all for the whole month! the only time i would see him would be at football games, bcuz hes on the team and im a cheerleader. but the problem is now i really like him! so i was just wondering if you think he might still like me, and also if you have any ideas for talking to him, or just getting him to notice me again. im really shy, so i wouldn't be able to just like go up and start talking to him. sorry this is so long, but thank you so much for taking the time to answer this, it really means a lot to me. Hey girl!  It's hard to say whether or not he still likes you, but if you start talking again, he could definitely become interested again.  After class, try leaving to walk to class around the same time.  Or, if you see him at a football game, try to see if you can get sort of close to where his is.  If you catch his eye, just say hi to start.  Don't be afraid to tell him he had a good game.  Ask him how he's doing because it's been a while since you last talked.  I know it's scary, but you should really try to initiate a convo.  This will show him that you want to talk to him, and will help you to come out of your shell a bit.  Best of luck!~Kristen
