Secrets to Super Shiny, Smooth Hair!

Keep hair healthy. Locks look lush when they’re totally moisturized. Let your conditioner sink in for a couple minutes and deep condition once a week. Rinse with cold water to close the hair follicle and lock in shine.

Resist the temptation to tousle. After your shower, gently pat strands dry with a towel. Don’t scrunch! When hair’s damp, comb a volumizer through your locks.

Hey girl, try using some hair accessories to spruce up a down look. I'm in love with hairbands personally. Try contrasting down 'dos with half-up half-down 'dos, ponytails, pigtails, and contrast your textures: straight, curly, wavy, etc. Keeping your hair healthy? One thing is to NOT straighten it every day and if you do, use a shampoo for damaged hair so it'll get its moisture back. Be sure to get your hair cut regularly (your dead-ends off at least) and wash and condition your hair regularly. Hope this helps!

i do most of that stuff all ready! the funny thing is my hair dries faster if I use cold air so i allready do that no wounder when i dry my hair It allways looks shiny after.Also heres a tip. If you have thick hair or thin hair i guess if you flip your hair so you get the hair behind all the hair you can see it dries ahole lot faster!!

Help! i dont have a mustash, but when i get cold my upper lip turns red and i look like i have one! Sometimes it goes red even when im not cold and then it takes a few days to go away! i've tried covering it up with cover-up but then it only lookes worse! any ideas on how to make it better? also my chekes go red. not when im embaresed

MOD Can you guys at GL post some articles with tips for homemade hair products? I cant go out and buy hair products right now (and even if i could, i get MASSIVE biuldup). Do you have any ideas? I shower every morning, and always wash, condition, and brush my hair every day, but it poofs up like hermionie granger's!! (in the first harry potter movie) Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Hey chica, good idea! We could post the homemade beauty products underneath our beauty section. You can make an avocado conditioning shampoo with one mashed avocado, one-tablespoon lemon juice, one teaspoon of sea-salt, and one teaspoon of aloe. Mash up until it is a paste, leave it into your hair for 20-30 minutes and then rinse it out.

Hey girly, figuring out whether a guy likes you or not can be a little tricky. The best way to tell is by their body language. So the next time you're around him or in class watch him. Does he keep eye contact with you? Smile or touch you a lot? Things like this will tell you if he likes you or not.

Okay, I really need you help. I have 3 bffs, H, C, and L. Theyre really awesome, but H always said she didn't have a crush. This really cool and fun guy came around, lets call him J, and he was my partner in Computers. We would like go on Word and he would type something like 'this class is so pointless' and I would type back on my computer
'I know' for a while. It was really fun and I started to like him somewhere along the way. Like two days ago one of my popular friends, S, played zap with me. Long story short, I got tricked into asking out J. I told him I got zapped and had to ask him out. He said yes but we're making it a group thing. I told my bffs C and L that I asked out J and might like him and they told me H likes him! I told them they were lying cause H would have told me and they said H was gonna tell me Haloween. Sure enough, when we went over L house for Haloween she told me that she likes J! What should I do? Plus, S told me that J really does like me!! He probably will never like H cause their complete opposites (him being a jock and her being a band player). Thanks and sorry this took so long.

You need to talk to your friend. Say that you had no idea she liked him and he really seems to like you. Make sure you get her approval before continuing. She may not actually be happy about it, but if she says yes, you can go along with it, ya know? Be careful. If that guy likes you, he'll wait for you to figure out this friend drama. Best,

I think you should not ask out that guy just becasue he likes you. Wait till theres a guy you really like. Hey Guys,
I have long, wavy dark brown hair and my bangs are like an inch wide and go down to about my lower lip. Usually I wear my hair down cause whenever I pull it up or away from my face I think I look ugly. Also, I have gym and we do all these exercises and it would really suck to have a ponytail so I have to at least wear it down until Christmas. I don't know what to do! Help me please, I'd seriously appreciate it.

HEY GIRLS!
i got some hair advice for ALL OF YOU girlies out there that forms soft small ringlets in your hair that are easy to manage!

the products i use:
*diffuser
*garnier fructis soft curl styling cream (about 5 dollars, you can find it in cvs with the other hair products. you can get it in strong,maxiuminum,and miniumum stength. I get strong!)

-ohkay in the shower i wash my hair with cold water using herbal essences hydrating shampoo and conditioner
-then once i get out i wrap a towel around my head for about 2 minutes.then take it off
-take about a nickel or a quarter size amount of product in my hand (depending on how thick your hair is!) and rub your hands together to get the product over both yur hands
-flip your head upside down and run your hands over whole head like your putting up a ponytail
-then begin to scrunch!
-afterwards go and get your blo dryer and diffuser
-FLIP YOUR HEAD UPSIDE AND DIFFUSE!
-after your dne you should have many small ringlet that are soft and beautiful falling along your face
-quickly put in a clip or headband if you want or keep it the same
-at firts dont touch your hair too much or it willl begin to frizz
-I HOPE YOU LIKE THIS LOK I WEAR IT EVERYDAY with clips i buy from hottopic (thir bows are amazing you can get 2 big ones for $5, 4 medium sized one for $4 or 8 small ones for $5!)

Do u know any acne clensers because i have had acne for years now and i used this stuff called acne free and it worked but not as well as i planned so i got the severe kind and it worked but never compleatly cleared my face up. now im using clean and clear and it doesnt work at all. do u know of any good products???

use? The only hair products I have is Garnier mouse and this spray before you use a flat iron/blowdrier. I have let my hair go natural for like a month to give it a break, and I don't have time to blow dry and stuff cuz I take forever in

mod mod mod!!! in your oppinion, what do you think is a better product for your hair because my sister (even though right now i use pantene) said pantene causes build up and frutic garnier isn't good?also what about herbal essenses?
and one more question. my mom said that you should change you shampoo and conditioner every so often...is that true? because i do that and just want to make sure it's safe for my hair.
