I have had a crush on this guy FOREVER and we were only friends for a year but after that we never talked even though i still liked him. Last year i decided to speak up and i asked him out and he said no and then i asked him 3 months later and he said no and then i asked him for the school dance 4 months later and he said yes but just this one time and was like "this is just for tonight i don't like you it wouldn't work bla bla bla" i told him yes i understand this is already perfect and i was really happy but i promised him i would move on. So i tried a new crush but i still liked him and i ignored him and i still liked him. Now we have classes together this year and we are like the best of friends. One of my friends keeps telling me to ask him out and another tells me to just stay friends and another says to go with the flow and see what happens. As of now, i am totally in love with him and i seriously do want to ask him out, but i just found out who he likes and i'm not sure anymore. the only reason i haven't done it before is because i feel that if i asked him it would be like breaking a prommise to him. should i ask him out or not?

Hey girl! If you really like him, you don't have to wait around. Talk to him more to get more comfortable with him. When you two are talking a lot, ask him to hang out outside of school sometime. You don't have to call it a "date," and you can even invite other friends to come with on a group date. That way, you'll spend time together without having to worry about awk on-on-one silences. MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD i went to a party last night and this kid i rllly like was there. apparently a rumor was going around that i like him-- which i do but i dont want him to know. so he was ignoring me the whole night. i finally just said that i didnt like him . he obv. didnt believe me . "its okay, i know you do, and i dont rlly feel the same way, but its okay" and i was just like ugh whatever. we were watching a movie and he sat next to me. he has alott of troubles going on especially at home, and so do i;; acct. the same exact (but he doesnt no). so i tried to talk to him to make him feel better cause im in the EXACT situation and know how he feels. he got pretty pissed off, so i stopped and appoligized. i think hes still mad. i was trying to talk to my older friend privately cause i was upset, and he was trying to talk to his friend too about it in the same place. he looked at me and said "Hannah, get out of here" i said "no?" and he was like "No, seriously Hannah, go away" and i just left. he doesnt know how i feel, that i can just as easily be broken as he can. he just didnt even think. so i sat by myself and cried for the rest of the party. what can i do to make things back to normal between us? and what can i do to make him WANT to talk about those things with me like heart-to-heart? thanks(:

hey girl! I responded to this comment earlier, so look for my earlier response too. I'm sorry things aren't going so well for you girly, but I think you need to give this guy some space. He's dealing with a lot and prob thinks you're just trying to get him to be interested in you. You can't make someone want to talk to you, so for now ease up a bit. Give him some space and time to sort things out before you talk to him again. If you talk later on and things are okay, you can let him know about your sitch. Hey girl, I'm sorry things are going so well for you, but I think you should try to give him some space. Since he knows he likes you, he probably thinks that you are trying to flirt with him and get him to like you, even though he's not that interested. Hey babe, try flirting with him a little more. Smile whenever you talk to him and give him compliments. Sit next to him whenever you can and maybe playfully hit his shoulder and laugh at his jokes. my friend started liking this guy in the sixth grade. she wasn't in my class that year, and neither was he (they were in the same class). last year she was in my class but he wasn't, and this year they're both in my class. well sometime around the beginning of this year she told me she didn't like him anymore, b/c apparently he was too obsessed w/ his looks. then like a month or so ago she told me she was into him again! well this may seem like it has nothing to do with me, but it does.
i've never really had a thing for this guy until now. since the beginning of this year, i had just thought he was cute, and a nice guy. then one day i was walking into algebra class with my arms full of books and stuff, and my chair was on top of my desk b/c apparently the person in 1st period wasn't there that day. all of a sudden he just took my chair down for me! we had a practice exam that day and i just couldn't keep my eyes off of him because i was so floored. plus, he's always nice to me and usually makes conversation with me.
i'm not sure how my friend feels about him now. and i'm not too sure how i feel either...can you tell me what all this means?

I realllly like this guy and have had a huge crush on him for like a year, and he found out that i liked him and he said he liked me back, then he said he didnt, and there is this whole big story that goes along with it. I'd really like to go out with him but 1.id be to freaked out to ask him out b/c of being rejected and 2. if he said yes i wouldnt be totally sure if id trust that that was the honest answer and that he was just trying not to hurt my feelings (that happened before with him). Hey girl! If he changed his answer like that, he may be scared. He probably likes you, but is scared to have a relationship, or he may be worried what his friends or family will think. Guys are complicated, but if you really like this guy I think you should give him one more chance. It's worth a try, and then if you don't end up going out with him there are so many other guys out there it won't matter! You can still be friends if he doesn't want to date. Good luck!

Mod, MOD, Mod I need your help once again! Alright, my bff likes the same guy I do, and told me to back off and stuff even though she knew I liked him. I was talking to him last night on facebook for four hours and it was really funny. We just kept flirtin, until I by accident brought up the fact that my friend liked him. Hey girl, is he asks you out tell him that you would love to but that you have to check with that friend who likes him. Talk to your friend about it and see if you can work things out to the point where you can keep her as a friend, but still have the guy as the boyfriend.

Getting more comfortable with him might be harder with his friends there. Try to build up your convo skills at another time when the two of you are alone and then when you guys are more comfortable, maybe you can set up one day a week for you two to have lunch alone without either of your friends or else one day with your friends and one day with his.
