Costume Contest Winners: Oh-so-adorable Audrey Hepburn!

Some Halloween costumes are funny, others are cute, and there's always a few whacky ones. But is it possible to create an elegant and unique costume? Take a cue from these two BFFs, Janae and Sierra, who dressed up as Audrey Hepburn for Halloween. We heart how they took something simple like Ms. Hepburn's LBD and turned it into such a creative costume that channeled her Breakfast at Tiffany's blockbuster.

Presh pearls, black tights and long cocktail gloves make our ladies look oh-so-lovely. The cutest part is the updo and tiara combo. So simple to put together but sooo sophisticated.

As soon as i saw this picture i was shocked! I was Audrey Hepburn too for halloween! Expect for my costume i had more pearl necklaces and a long cigarette holder. These costumes are really cute!

Hey girl, you can't really tell much, honestly. What you can do, however? Make eye contact, go over with a friend, and say hi. Compliment him on his appearance -- maybe his shirt. Ask how he likes school. Start with small talk and work to bigger talk from there.

I was her last year. I actually had real vintage clothing though, a black cocktail dress, gloves, shoes, the whole thing. And my grandma gave me her grandmas jewelry. It looked pretty authentic. But I have glasses, and with the election at that time, everyone thought I was Sarah Palin!

i am so confused. so yesterday, my crush was majorly flirting with me and he asked me what high school im going to and when i answered, hes like me too and im sooo glad u r coming. then when someone asked who he liked he pointed at me and then im like WHAT? but with a smile and then hes like im just kidding but he smiled at me and was looking at me. then today he told me and a girl that he went out with this summer that he was gay and bi. i am so confused. could he be joking and trying to be weird? i am so lost.

Hey girl, I don't know if he's joking, but it sounds like he is kind of being weird with all his actions. Let it go for now. Sounds like this guy's a bit of a tease who has some issues to sort out on his own (i.e. who he really likes anyway).

Hey girl, not at all. I can def understand, but the best way to figure out whether a guy likes you is to get hints like that and to get even more from the horse's mouth. Try talking to this guy and see how he acts. You'll get your signals.

Hey girl, that's totes natural though especially given those circumstances. I know it's easy to want to read more into it and think 'well, he likes me, definitely.' Reality usually isn't like that though, girl -- it's usually a lot less. I'd def try talking to him though -- that will give you more of a definite answer than any gaze will. Good luck!

okay so i found out there is a 90% chance that i mite be moving in the next 3 months. I have gone to 6 different schools and i HATE being the new girl. i am so upset its making me sick. also, i am in really advanced classes, like right now i am a sophmore but if i wanted to i could be a senior because of the classes i am taking, and the school that i would transfer doesnt have any of my advanced classes, and when i am in reg. classes i fail, becasuse i dont pay attention becuase i kno it all already. and i am involved in alot of school clubs, one in particular is MUN, and i LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! and the new school doesnt have it, and its REALLY hard to get it at your school. oh, and i have lived in my townfor 5 years so i am no longer the new girl and i have a BFF who is always there for me a really close circle of friends,and i dont want to leave them, and please dont tell me i will make new friends, i have heard that way to many times. oh yeah and my current school has 1000 kids and i like that becuase that way everyone DOESNT know everybody, so you can meet new people, which i love, the new school has 250 kids, total. i really really hate super small kids, 500 wouldnt be too bad, but 250!!! please help me, i am a mess.

Hey girl, I'm way sorry to hear about that. Moving is totally out of your hands, but you should def tell your parents how you feel. Look into different schools in the area. Maybe there's a private school that has the advanced classes you like that's close. There's def more than one school you can attend -- it just takes a li'l research. As for being the new girl? It definitely bites but you'd be surprised. You're going to be moving around a lot (college, for example) so it's important to develop skills to meet new friends and succeed in whatever environment you're in. Things work out. You've just gotta stay strong and continue to do your best.

!MOD! Me and my bffs (their twins) have always been super close and we've lived on the same street. I recently moved but I still fairly closeby that we can still hang out every day. We still hang out when we can but not as often as old times

I really miss having the Friday night sleepovers when I can just walk down the street to hang with them and going to the mall with them. How do I get back on the track to our friendship by hanging out with them more often?? Thank you so much <3

Hey girl, try making plans ahead of time. You can still have that Friday night sleepover -- it may just be a li'l car ride in between. Work with your 'rents and take turns hosting. Be sure to plan ahead because transportation will be a bigger thing now than it was before. The thing to know though? Distance won't keep the best friendships apart. Be optimistic and know that while you may not be a walk away, you're still close and can find a way to make things work.

Try smiling at him more. If he knows you like him he'll feel more comfortable talking to you. smiling a lot more in general is a great way to make people see that you're open and approachable even if you're shy.

i am in the market for a flat iron. i've never had my own before and i was wondering how the size of the plates effect your hair. like if a 1in or a 11/2in or a 2in is better?

Hey babe,

The size depends on how thick your hair is. If you have really thick hair, a wider size is better. If you have really fine hair a smaller size is better. 1 1/2 works for almost any time, so I would recommend that one.
