~*~*~*~*~~*~*MODMODMODMODMODMODMODMOD~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ okay so i used to like this guy J. we went out for like a day 2 years ago but i broke up with him outa guilt for not telling my parents and than he stoped talkin to me for sum reason. i was mad at him, until i got a facebook and we started talking nonstop. i started liking him again. than i went to a party a few weeks ago and met a guy named I. he told me to add him on facebook so we could talk more, so i did and now we talk all the time. than i liked him becuase he was so awesome and nice and caring and listened to all my probs. i asked his friend who he liked and his friend said he liked a girl named M. so i decided that i shud just give up on him cuz it made no sense to like him if i already no he likes sum1 else. i was talking to J. and i mentioned I. he immideatley said "ohhh do u like him" and i was like "i think of him as a friend" and he was like "okay" ( whenever i mention another guy he always asks if i like him, than i say "as a friend" and he goes "okay" than changes the subject) but than i started saying of how cool he was tho and how he is nice and everything and now i like him again ( i think) but than me and J kept talking and idk who i like, becuse J and i have known eachother for a longer time, but I and i talk soo much and he is so nice and caring. there is also this guy at my skool who always shows signs of flirting with me (playing with my hair, being "mean",talking to me for no reason, always makes me laugh, defends me) but i do NOT like him that way. WHAT DO I DO?!?!? p.s. J and I go to dif skools

Hey girl! You need to decide who you like. Keep talking to both of them and see where that takes you. Something might develop over the next few weeks that will make your choice easier!

please hurry and answer b4 i gotta get in the shower!!! mk so theres this snooty girl at my church. she's homeschooled and the prachers daughter. she thinks her opinions are better than everybody elses...she's literally a goody2shoes. when she says something most ppls follow her. but everything we plan in our youth group, she has to say something if she doesnt like it or tries to get atention. at church your suppose to be focused on God ya know?? we're planning a youth rally and she's shot down most of everybodies ideas. one time we were planning a beach trip, but she said no because you wouldnt be focused on God, only on da beach. i wanted to hit her...what did she think was gonna get somebody who doesnt have God be interested in coming to the beach and if your hearts in a good place than you know what you need to focus on. now for our youuth rally she wants to get a band from the other side of the state(where she use to live) instead of a band we;ve all actually heard of and like. HOW DO I DEAL WITH SOMEBODY LIKE HER BUT STILL BE ABLE TO GET MY OPINOINS AND EVERYBODY ELSES ACROSS TO HER AND OUR TEACHERS????!!

Everything i post never goes through...i ahve some things i need advice on. We are MOVING to a house that needs a lot of stuff done for example:the whole roof 2500 sq feet, the basemnt (mold) the indor pool (mildew),the tile for the kithchen and the bathroom floor we dont get the house till the 20th of this month do you think all this will be done before December 18th?
Another thing is that i really want to pluck my eyebrows but my mom wont let me??

I haven't seen anything from you since I started working this afternoon, so maybe your computer has been having problems? I really don't know about home repair stuff, but I think if there is someone who is supposed to be handling that stuff it can definitely be done by the 18th. Find out what your mom's reasons are. If she thinks you're too young, just agree on an age when you'll be old enough and wait until then. If she's concerned that you'll do it wrong then ask her to show you how or to let you go to a professional to get it done the first time.

Hey I want a facebook but my mom says no. I'm guessing my dad is going with the flow about that but I turned 13 just 3 months ago and I even know some people that are younger than me and have one- one even got one when she was 11. Its also annoying that I cant have one when it would be the only comunication with long distant friends that I never get to see.Also, even a friend of my parents has a facebook and she herself told me to persuade them to get one so i can get in contact with her. I'm really desperate for a facebook but what should I say to my mom?

Hey girl! You could tell your mom about how a facebook would help you stay in touch with other people. You can also tell her that you would set it on private which means no one could look at your profile unless you approved it.

*MOD*MOD*MOD* I really really REALLY want the Girl's Life magazine, because I go to a strict private school with uniforms and therefore know nothing about fashion and boys and all this stuff I (and my friends) wanna know. I brought home a sample from the library, and my parents, seeing "Does he secretly like you?" said ABSOLUTELY NOT. (They aren't very tolerant of boys) I know that there's probably no way of changing their minds, but do you think maybe there's any way I could change it? I'm completely responsible around the house and everything!!

Relax, breathe, get enough sleep, exercise, eat healthy, read, paint, talk to friends, do things that make you happy and forget about things that stress you out. Talk to your parents about the big responsibility they put on you by having to watch your brother. Tell them that although you love him you have a lot of homework and other life stressors and need some "you" time.

this new guy at my school follows me everywhere. its really creepy. hes not just like lonely or something he just likes to follow me and he never shuts up. i was texting him and i told him to get a life and to get out of mine. (it seems mean but i meant it) he replied with "get the f out of the world"
i told him to never text me again and im getting his number blocked. is there anything more that i can do to avoid him at all possible cost? i know this problem seems miner but there are some other things that he has done that make me want to stay FAR away from him. PLEASE HELP! thank you so much

Hey girl! If he is stalking you around school and doesnt stop when you ask him, tell a teacher or the guidance counselor. They will talk to him and tell him the consequences of what will happen if he continues this creepy behavior. Good luck!

I don't get along with my dad very well either. When he yells or gets mad at you, just walk away. It's best to be the bigger person. If he puts you down, say, "I have feelings, please respect them." If he ever threatens you, say, "If you say anything like that again I will let someone know."
Let someone know at school if he does that like a tteacher, guidance counselor, or nurse. You have tto have a high amount of self esteem, and can't be worried or depressed about anything. In your self, you matter most.

My bf is really smart and shy. He's said that he likes me and even loves me, but he only said those things once. He seems to not like talking about feelings. And he's never hugged me or held my hand or anything. I really, really like him though, and he seems to feel the same at times, but at other time he seems to think of me as a friend. What do I do?

Tell him what's been on your mind. Ask him what's going on and if his feelings have changed. If they haven't changed just let him know you need a little more reassurance to know that he likes you and let him know you want to work on being more open with one another.

MOD??? My mom is overweight. It really bothers me because all my friends talk about how they are they same size as their moms now. I get really embarrased. I have to take a health class and i am learning how bad it can be for you. Like how you can get high blood pressure (she already has) and athsma (she already has that too.) im really worried about her. I also learned that being overweight can make u die 20 years earlier then you are supposed to. I dont really want to talk to her about this because she always gets really mad whenever i try to. Is there anything else I can do?? thanks soo much!

Hey missy, you can unintentional suggest that she loose weight. Next time you guys head to the market, ask her to buy some fruit, veggies and nuts. Ask her to try out some new exercise techniques and routines. Try asking her to run with on the weekends. If she sees you trying to be healthy, she may start getting into the healthy mood too.

I live with my dad and All i can say is that I hate him so much i wish he's never part of my life-he insults me, compares me to others, acts like he needs to know Everything i'm doing or buy and everything. And my mom is not any better infact shes worst. You know, when i was little i always wanted to be close to my family but know i want nothing to do with them they make me feel bad,the beat me and never believe me its like i just can't wait till i never see them again because of them (one of the major reasons ) i became depressed. they never listen to me and according to them they're always right and they've never apologized to me eeven if they were wrong-i mean i get that parents should disipline and talk to their children but they are just horrible like my dad makes me feel guilty if i make him buy something like $15 top and I really don't know who to talk to or anything cause i moved to a new continent and country and evrthing has changed for me which sucks and i feel like my life is over and just so boring and depressing...

Hey chica, whenever you're going through something and you feel you can't tell anyone, write it down. Jot your feelings down into a journal or diary. You'll feel better getting it out of your system.

Hey chica, the first thing you have to do is remember he's just a boy, just like you are just a girl. He's a normal human being, so no need to get excited. And whenever you're around him and feel yourself start to get nervous, close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and realize everything is okay. Try spending more time around him so that you'll get used to being around him and won't get as nervous. And when you're ready, talk to him!

Hey chica, why don't you invite them to hang out with you one Saturday? If you show them that you're putting in the effort to hang with them, they may start inviting you to more things. And communication is key to any relathionship. So talk to them about it. How will they know you feel this way if you don't say something? You can tell them face to face, text or write them how you feel. Hope this helps!

Hi.. I am having issues with my dad. So, my dad has this girlfriend of his and she isn't my type. She wears short shorts and today she was wearing a dress that just went past her butt. She's really embarrasing and my parents are divorced already. I don't want to have a step mom. And then a week or 2 ago he introduced her to my neighbor and said this is my fiance with a little laugh. I thought he was joking but I started to believe it so I texted him later that night and asked if its true. All he wrote was "no sweety" and thats it. I trusted him and all and today I saw a diamond ring on her ring finger. Is it true? Or could it be from her last marriagement? Could they really, REALLY be engaged??? I don't think my dad would lie to me but I am really worried. I can't really ask a second time. She's always at my dads too. Please help me !!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you need to talk to your dad about this and let him know that you're worried. You have to respect that it's his life and his decision, ultimately, but since you're a part of his life too you'd really appreciate it if he let you know if anything is really going on and even if not then whether anything might.
