my dad just installed some activity monitoring system called spector and i REALLY dont like it! don't they remember what its like not wanting their parents watching their EVERY MOVE?!? and PLEASE DONT SAY just dont go on any bad websites or anything like that cuz i actually want HELP. do you think there is any chance they will take it off? D': do you think if im extra nice and good and like, perfect for a while they will take it off??? i wonder if my parents can see THIS...... HELLLLLP MEEEEEE PLLAAEEESE!!!!

They put that on the computer ot make sure certain websites arnt accessed. Those certain websites are the websites that can contain viruses and such that will harm the computer. Also its your parents computer youre using, so they can put whatever software on there they want. If youre just going on this site, youre fine though. You dont need to stress about the software. Theyre not trying to stalk you. Dont stress about it. xoxo kerra

so i have basically the same problem but with my mom. And no matter what it is its wrong im always wrong. If i cry she finds away to make it because of one of my flaws or being to sensitive. My whole family always makes fun of me and believe me ive told them to stop. Sometimes i feel like they dont even care if im happy. I don't know if i am either. Because of all this ive developed a fear of failure! now i freak out if i get one bad grade because i know my mom will yell when she finds out. She never lets me have a day in school when i don't have to worry. im in adv. launguage but its not good enough when i get to high school (im in eighth grade) i have to do only classes that will get me college credits my parents are both docotrs which doesn't help. is there anything i can do???? thanx

I can feel your pain to an extent...I don't live with my real Dad...my step dad and my mom. But I never can sit down with my dad and "talk" to him because its not the type of relationship we have...and I don't like my step-mom...so pretty much whenever I see my dad its always a fake act of being sweet and nice. Plus he live 4 hours away. So just be thankful he is there, and him fighting with you is a way of saying he cares. don't hlod it to him. He loves you.

whenever my mom is in a bad mood, every1 is in a bad mood. when she gets home and yells at me or my sister for almost nothin it rly bothers me and i no it bothers my lil sis 2. it doznt happen alot but win it doz it can b bad. somtimes she will just huff and sigh and groan around the house until somebody offers 2 help her. she can b kinda well idk not rly scary but kinda...intimidating i gess and idk wat 2 do bout it. its not like i can just walk up 2 her and say: i dont like yer tude or wat is the matter cuz she wud just get more mad. help me!

I don't remember how it happened. One day my dad and I were so close and the next day it ended. It was a few years ago. He decided he loved my brother more then me. I was never punished. so at a friends party she gave us these jelly bracelets orange, black, green, and blue. i wore the black one to school cuz it matched my outfit and i liked it. one of the seventh graders immediantly told me to take it off before any guys saw, and that they each ment somthing but she wouldn't tell me what. what do they mean and should i take them off???

I'm not exactly sure what it means, but i might. Some kids at schools like to create these competitions where you get different colored bracelets for how much you've done with a boy. So if you've only kissed a boy, you get a pink one. It's a very stupid game to play, but it still happens. I suggest you don't wear the bracelet so you don't have to deal with the immature game. I'm just sorry you cant wear it for fashion like you want to. xoxo kerra

please hurry and answer b4 i gotta get in the shower!!! mk so theres this snooty girl at my church. she's homeschooled and the prachers daughter. she thinks her opinions are better than everybody elses...she's literally a goody2shoes. when she says something most ppls follow her. but everything we plan in our youth group, she has to say something if she doesnt like it or tries to get atention. at church your suppose to be focused on God ya know?? we're planning a youth rally and she's shot down most of everybodies ideas. one time we were planning a beach trip, but she said no because you wouldnt be focused on God, only on da beach. i wanted to hit her...what did she think was gonna get somebody who doesnt have God be interested in coming to the beach and if your hearts in a good place than you know what you need to focus on. now for our youuth rally she wants to get a band from the other side of the state(where she use to live) instead of a band we;ve all actually heard of and like. HOW DO I DEAL WITH SOMEBODY LIKE HER BUT STILL BE ABLE TO GET MY OPINOINS AND EVERYBODY ELSES ACROSS TO HER AND OUR TEACHERS????!!

Everything i post never goes through...i ahve some things i need advice on. We are MOVING to a house that needs a lot of stuff done for example:the whole roof 2500 sq feet, the basemnt (mold) the indor pool (mildew),the tile for the kithchen and the bathroom floor we dont get the house till the 20th of this month do you think all this will be done before December 18th?
Another thing is that i really want to pluck my eyebrows but my mom wont let me??

I haven't seen anything from you since I started working this afternoon, so maybe your computer has been having problems? I really don't know about home repair stuff, but I think if there is someone who is supposed to be handling that stuff it can definitely be done by the 18th. Find out what your mom's reasons are. If she thinks you're too young, just agree on an age when you'll be old enough and wait until then. If she's concerned that you'll do it wrong then ask her to show you how or to let you go to a professional to get it done the first time.

Hey I want a facebook but my mom says no. I'm guessing my dad is going with the flow about that but I turned 13 just 3 months ago and I even know some people that are younger than me and have one- one even got one when she was 11. Its also annoying that I cant have one when it would be the only comunication with long distant friends that I never get to see.Also, even a friend of my parents has a facebook and she herself told me to persuade them to get one so i can get in contact with her. I'm really desperate for a facebook but what should I say to my mom?

Relax, breathe, get enough sleep, exercise, eat healthy, read, paint, talk to friends, do things that make you happy and forget about things that stress you out. Talk to your parents about the big responsibility they put on you by having to watch your brother. this new guy at my school follows me everywhere. its really creepy. hes not just like lonely or something he just likes to follow me and he never shuts up. i was texting him and i told him to get a life and to get out of mine. I don't get along with my dad very well either. When he yells or gets mad at you, just walk away. It's best to be the bigger person. If he puts you down, say, "I have feelings, please respect them." If he ever threatens you, say, "If you say anything like that again I will let someone know."
Let someone know at school if he does that like a tteacher, guidance counselor, or nurse. You have tto have a high amount of self esteem, and can't be worried or depressed about anything. In your self, you matter most.

My bf is really smart and shy. He's said that he likes me and even loves me, but he only said those things once. He seems to not like talking about feelings. And he's never hugged me or held my hand or anything. I really, really like him though, and he seems to feel the same at times, but at other time he seems to think of me as a friend. What do I do?

Tell him what's been on your mind. Ask him what's going on and if his feelings have changed. If they haven't changed just let him know you need a little more reassurance to know that he likes you and let him know you want to work on being more open with one another.

MOD??? My mom is overweight. It really bothers me because all my friends talk about how they are they same size as their moms now. I get really embarrased. I have to take a health class and i am learning how bad it can be for you. Like how you can get high blood pressure (she already has) and athsma (she already has that too.) im really worried about her. I also learned that being overweight can make u die 20 years earlier then you are supposed to. I dont really want to talk to her about this because she always gets really mad whenever i try to. Hey missy, you can unintentional suggest that she loose weight. Next time you guys head to the market, ask her to buy some fruit, veggies and nuts. Ask her to try out some new exercise techniques and routines. Try asking her to run with on the weekends. If she sees you trying to be healthy, she may start getting into the healthy mood too.

I live with my dad and All i can say is that I hate him so much i wish he's never part of my life-he insults me, compares me to others, acts like he needs to know Everything i'm doing or buy and everything. And my mom is not any better infact shes worst. You know, when i was little i always wanted to be close to my family but know i want nothing to do with them they make me feel bad,the beat me and never believe me its like i just can't wait till i never see them again because of them (one of the major reasons ) i became depressed. they never listen to me and according to them they're always right and they've never apologized to me eeven if they were wrong-i mean i get that parents should disipline and talk to their children but they are just horrible like my dad makes me feel guilty if i make him buy something like $15 top and I really don't know who to talk to or anything cause i moved to a new continent and country and evrthing has changed for me which sucks and i feel like my life is over and just so boring and depressing...

Hey chica, the first thing you have to do is remember he's just a boy, just like you are just a girl. He's a normal human being, so no need to get excited. And whenever you're around him and feel yourself start to get nervous, close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and realize everything is okay. Try spending more time around him so that you'll get used to being around him and won't get as nervous. And when you're ready, talk to him!
