4 Things to Do With Your Leftover Halloween Candy

Can’t stop noshing those sweets? We’ve got four fab ways to empty your candy bowl, without eating it all.

From brightening someone’s day with some baked goods to gettin’ crafty with the candy, we’ve got cool ideas for all of those treats!

Donate everything!
There are so many places and people who have use for all that candy. So spread the sweetness. Nursing homes, the food bank, women’s shelters, and schools, would all love and appreciate your donation.

Bake it up…and give it away.
There are tons of uses for sweets in cooking. Try baking cookies or brownies with peanut butter cups or topping a batch of sugar cookies with M&M’s. Then, wrap them up in some cute packaging and give them to someone ya heart.

Get crafty.
There are tons of things you can make with your leftover candy. A Halloween wreath for next year is a great one to make with stale candy. Using wrappers to make necklaces are perfect for gifts. Or, save it to pop on a gingerbread house for the holidays.

Freeze it!
Can’t stand to part with your treats? Freeze them. Candy can be saved for up to a year if frozen. This is great if you need a couple pieces for a baking project or simply to satisfy those chocolate fixes we all need every once in a while.

Help others and feel great about yourself
-compliment a friend
-bake a batch of cookies for a neighbor
-if you understand something in school and notice that someone is having trouble, offer to help them
-hold the door for someone
-offer to babysit for free

i have a seriouse prob! actually, 2. number one, i dont know why, but no one but a few people seem to like me in school! im always nice, but get mad when people make fun of me cause im really sensitive, i look fairrly nice, average weight, 4'8", dark from hair with lighter brown highlights, size 5 feet, im never annoying, but everyone makes fun of me sooo much everday especailly in English and Science, that i cry almost everyday! i hate it! like last thursday, this mean kid named BJ said something to me i didnt understand, but it in particular i could tell wasnt mean, but a mean girl name, lets call her, jessica, said " he said no one likes you." so many other things happen, it would take forever to write, i thought about talking to the counseler or principal, but i know theyd just keep doing it, or get mad (other ones) if i got them in trouble, even some nice people just take pity on me, whats wrong with me? lastley, i have a d in math! its only because i got a 68 on a math test, but my math tutor, my bff, is busy with volleyball each day! one more thing about the meanies one, they think its uncool im smart, like i got 51 out of 50 on an english test and they called me a teachers pet and a cheater, and they said i had to cry for the reveiw sheetand they think it too cause i have an adult reading level, but i have to be smart if i want to get into vet school! help!!!!

Hey girl, first that's awesome about your good grades in English! Never let people make you feel bad about getting a good grade. They are just jealous deep down! Don't dumb yourself down to please them. It doesn't matter how you look, people will be mean regardless. It makes me feel for you that you're crying so frequently! I think it'd be a good idea to talk with your closest parent or teacher about how you feel. It'd be smart to talk with a guidance counselor on how you could fit in better and feel more comfortable at school. It's not fair to have school be miserable for you because of the other kids. There is nothing wrong with you. As long as you believe in yourself, be yourself, and put yourself out there. Try to laugh with them, and make a joke out of it. If they see that you aren't bothered by their mean comments they'll move on, get bored, and try to bother someone else.

MOD MOD MOD- i tried posting this earlier but it didnt really work.
I have 2 questions:
1- Do you suggest any good face washes to fight blemishes?? I've tried many brands, and nothing's seemed to work.
2- I usually get whiteheads, which are a pain in the butt. But what's even more gross about them is that they pop themselves sometime during the day, even when I don't touch my face. It's nasty, and I don't even know when it happens, and its so embarrasing. Have you ever heard of anything like this?

A lot of skin cleansers work differently on different types of skin, so the best advice I can give you is to keep trying to find one that works for you. That's pretty normal. Going through puberty makes your skin extra sensitive to breakouts. Try to pop them before they pop themselves.

great ideas! heres what i do
i pick the candy i like and then i put the rest on my table and my family members all rush to pick out what they like. then we throw out what no one likes. its like halloween for my whole family even though they dont dress up!
