I like this guy a lot and we see eachother all the time because his friend is dating my sister. Well i told him i liked him and wanted to know if it was worth it and he said he liked me more than a friend too but he liked three other girls too. So then he said "what if I start liking you one day and you don't like me back?" and he never gave me an answer to my question and he doesn't make an effort to see me and he talks about the girls he likes in front of me. I dont want to bring it up again but i wish he knew how much i liked him. What should I do??

It is always important for you to make decisions for yourself and what you want.. not what other people want! You are the one dating him (not your friends!), so whatever you do is your choice! It is important to listen to your friends concerns... they care about you and don't want you to get hurt! Remember.. your friends will always be there no matter what! Guys may come and go. If your friend's problems with him don't bother you and won't hurt your friendship, then maybe rethink your decision to break up with him. If you want to be with him, and your friends really are your friends, then they will support you no matter what!!

My friends brother came to my school as a freshman this year and I am a sophmore. We were always good friends and kind of had a thing, or just a vibe of feelings. He would flirt w/ me and I would do the same. People noticed it including his mom and sis and things only got stronger since we started going to school together. A whole line of events happend to make me understand he liked me and made me REALLY like him. He did so many cute things to show that he liked me

This is long, I'm sorry!
One of my guy friends asked me out, and I rejected him. After a short awkward moment, I asked him if he'd still talk to me (bad choice of words, I should have asked if he was okay with staying friends) and he immediately said, "Of course!"
The next day, today, though, when he talks to me, he seems less at ease, and a little bitter.
I know that to get over someone, you sever all ties with them. But how do I fit into that? Do I just avoid him and let him get over it?
I don't know what to do, because I don't want to upset my friend anymore than I already have. I want to just keep talking to him and force him to continue being friends, but maybe that's not the right choice?

it was my birthday two days ago and i was having a really bad day so i was sort of hoping my bf would make me feel better. it was school day at that time. i just waited and even though i past in front of him a lot of times (and even his friends wish me happy birthday), he kept quite and just hanged out with his friends. i thought he just didn't care so i acted like a total jerk to him when he asked me question. he gave me a birthday card he made himself and said he was sorry. i still couldn't forgive him so i just said uh huh. when i went home, i read his letter and even though it sounds silly, i just felt like he didn't know what to write to me even though i have millions of things i want to say to him. not to mention, everytime we're together, we're so quite even though i'm so loud with other guys. i felt guilty after that and text him sorry for acting like a jerk but he hasn't spoke to me since that! and he deleted his myspace to we haven't talked. what should i do??

Hey girl! He probably is just upset that you said uh huh when he gave you a card he made. It probably hurt his feelings, however, he shouldn't have acted like a jerk. But, maybe he didn't think he was acting like a jerk. Just text him again, and apologize and wait for him to respond. I'm sure he'll get over it eventually.

MOD MOD MOD Ok, it seems that my dad doesnt trust me around 3 of my guy friends. I have known them since 3rd grade and now we are in 8th(14). They are some of my closest friends, too. My dad wont even let me be alone in my room with them!! The weird thing is that he trusted me around my ex BF but didnt trust them. ~~~~~****MOD****~~~~~ Okay so i have a problem. so whenever i get into a fight with m y sister or parents i burn myself with salt and ice. thats last time my parents caught me and i got into a lot of trouble and my friends were furious i promised never to do it again, and i dont want to do it. but i got into a fight with my sister and mom the other day and when they left i gave myself to big burns on my stomache that blistered really bad, i also made shallow cuts on my thighs(so no one would see) i dont want to do it but i think i need to be punished for talking back to my parents or being mean to my sister. Hey girl. Hurting yourself is NEVER the way to go. When you realize that you talked back, don't punish yourself. That won't help you learn and stop doing it later. Just go apologize to them. It will help you learn to confront your mistakes and take responsibility for them instead of hurting yourself. Everyone makes mistakes. But everyone deserves to be forgiven. MODMODMOD!! me and my boyfriend have been going out 2 weeks and were freshmen in high school. i think i love you are really strong words and you should wait a while to say it. ive talked to him about it and how i think it means a lot and he agreed that it did, and you should wait. but then when i was with him yesterday he said "i love you and this time im serious" and i was so suprised i said really? and he said yeah.. and i said well.idk what to say. thank you. and he said no problem baby. soo now im so confused cause i really wanted it to mean something but weve only been going out for two weeks so i dont think he really meant it..what do i do? talk to him about it? or just ignore it whenever he says it? im so confused i need help!

Hey girl, tell him how you feel about the word and him. Let him know you really like him and he means a lot to you, you just don't love him yet. Whenever he says it to you, tell him "You mean a lot to mean too." He'll know you really mean it and you won't be abusing the "love" word.

MOD~~MOD~~MOD i need help! i have this "friend" who none of my friends rlly like at all, myself included. but she thinks we r all her best friendS!! shes annoying, clingy, spazzy, gets jealous, conceited, OBSESSED with our teacher (who is a girl!), makes retarded jokes that only she thinks r funny, makes big deals out of every little thing tht she thinks r insiders, she tries 2 steal me nd my friends insiders, nd she is just an overall pain in the neck!! she thinks im her property cuz our moms were roommates in the hospital nd we hav the same bday, and she thinks tht makes us sisters. i really can not stand her most of the time nd i dont know how 2 get rid of her!!!! nd every time she says she never wants 2 talk to yu again, the next day shes all over yu!! sooo srry its so long but i dont know how 2 handle her anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey girly, you have to talk to her. Let her know you like having her as a friend but need your space. Tell her that if she doesn't give you some space you won't be friends anymore. Introduce her to some of your other classmates and peers. That way she'll make friends and will get off your back.

MOD please help me! one of my friends has been acting weird since about a week ago she hasn't been talking to me or my bff. we used to talk all the time, but since my bff invited me to her house after a football game. well my friend who's been acting weird kinda got upset about that, but my bff could only invite one person (my bff didn't think she'd want to come considering her ex was going to be there). She isn't in my class it's just me and my bff. the friend who hasn't been talking to us invited us to her bday party when we were talking anyway(about two weeks ago she invited us). We were gonna go see the premire of new moon. now i don't know i'm invited. How should i ask if i'm still am invited, cause the party is supposed to be on friday. i don't know what she's mad at me for.

Hey girl, just talk to her. Ask her if she's still mad at you, and if she is apologize to her. Let her know you still want to be her friend and ask her if you'll still invited. Hope this helps!

MOD So my boyfriend and I are really close and we've been together for almost six months. All my friends are like "did you kiss him yet?" and we are totally not like that. Our relationship isn't really the lovey-dovey-hand-holding-kissing thing just more like we're together and we're happy. Also...the words "I love you" are really strong and I don't want to say them until I actually love the person. I'm not sure if I'm in love with my boyfriend, but I want to let him know I care about him a lot. What can I say or do that won't be horribly awkward?

Hey girly, you could always say "I'm so happy we're together" or "I really care about you". Just say exactly what you feel about him and what you want him to know. He'll know you really like him without you saying those other three words.
