Disney Pixar’s emotional adventure lands on DVD and Blu-ray today—yay! And we’re giving away FREE copies for some very special chicks.

Carl Fredricksen, a balloon salesman, had dreams of exploring the depths of South America with his childhood sweetheart, Ellie. He made a promise to his wife that they would trek to Paradise Falls but, sadly, Ellie passed away before that. Thinking life has passed him by, the 78-year-old widower does the unthinkable one day. Keeping his promise, he straps thousands of balloons to the roof of his house, uprooting for his own adventure.

Carl soon realizes, however, that he’s not alone on his ambitious quest. Russell, an eager 8-year-old Wilderness Explorer who was just trying to earn an extra badge, accidentally gets suckered in for the ride.

The traveling duo’s journey includes exotic animals like a huge exotic bird Russell names Kevin and a talking dog named Dug. And they all soon realize that South America, which seems like a magical place, is in fact one filled with danger for Kevin. Can Carl, Russell and Dug protect him? Can they all make it through their journey safe and sound?

Whether you’ve seen the movie in theaters or haven’t seen it at all, the four-disc Blu-ray Combo Pack and two-disc DVD lends tons of bonus surprises for all as well. There’s “Dug’s Special Mission”--an original short film that follows the misadventures of the beloved dog Dug as he attempts to complete his “special mission.” There’s also the “Adventure is Out There”—an action-packed documentary of the filmmakers’ own trek to South America to research the design and story of the film.

The Blu-ray pack lends even more hours of extra goodies, including “Geriatric Hero” and “Russell: Wilderness Explorer,” which discuss the creation of the movie’s main characters, and interactive games like “Global Guardian Badge Game,” where players take a stab at geography when they must try to locate countries, states and capitals around the world.

omg i LOVE this movie and i'm 13. (and i probably will still love it until i'm mr fredrickson's age) russell is adorable and dug is THE best dog EVER (well except for my dog)!! even if you think its too young for you you'll love it!!

GOOD MOVIE!!!

Want to eat healthy but not ready to go full vegetarian?
Solution: Go semi-veg! This means that you will not eat cow and pig but still eat chicken and turkey (basically cutting out red meat). Or, you can give up all of those and just eat seafood.

Solution2: Moderation! Instead of every meal, eat meat just once a day or maybe once every couple days.

Solution3: Lower quantities! The average American eats 6 servings of meat a day (2 servings per meal) when all they need is 3 a day. How about you eat meat every meal but only half a serving each meal?

I always get nervous when I have to practice my solo song in front of everyone at school. When I use the microphone it just sounds wrong. Any help?

Hey girl! It sounds wrong because you can hear yourself echoing probably. You just have to get used to it and try not to focus on the echo. Just take a deep breath and focus on your voice. Good luck!

AWWWWWW!!!!!! This is like one of the best movies EVER!!! I LOOOVE it!! I laughed, i cried (I even cried at the animated short in the beginning... (; it was so nice) and i even laughed so hard i cried!!!

this movie was so freakin good! my mom cried (: it was funny.....anywayyz, this movie was the cutest thing, and when they say "its perfect for the whole family!" i actually agree with it for once! it was such a cute-fairytale-love story! and i know pep say "im too old for it" and thats what i thought, but it was really good! anyone can relate to it, and it was just perfect! XD

Hey girl! Go for great jeans and scarves. You'll be cute and trendy! Try looking for some great boots and fall dresses that would look good with leggings. Flip though out style section for some other great fall/winter clothes!

MODMODMODMOD i love playing flute, and i take very expensive private & group lessons. My group teacher babies me and acts like i'm 2. i'm already in book 3 and she makes us do book 1 and 2 songs since there are some younger kids in the group. I have a bad attitude because it is so hard to go from a long day of school to this lesson (which btw is standing the whole time) and my mom is mad at me! it's not all my fault!!!

Hey girl! I know all of that stuff can be really frustrating but try to stay positive! If you put in the effort it will benefit you in the end! You'll be a really good flute player and be thankful for the lessons!

MODMODMODMOD! i really need help! my 2 best friends hate each other! my one friend "lia" [i'm not using their real names] says "natalie" is mean and rude. natalie thinks lia is bossy and is a bully. now recently they were playing footballl in gym and natalie told me lia bit her. later lia told me natalie shoved her hand in lia's mouth and then told everyone she bit her! i don't know who to believe! a couple other of my friends say lia is mean. i've heard lia trashtalk her other friends and i can't help to think that maybe lia trashtalks me behind my back! help i'm stuck in the middle!

Hey girl! You should try your hardest to stay out of it. Try getting them to talk it out and maybe they can come to a compromise. Let them figure it out and you won't have to take sides!
