Ok, I'm young and still discovering who I am. I'm getting blonde highlights for my 13th birthday. I have brown hair.
Will this ruin my hair? Will highlights be difficult to deal with? I have to use special shampoo because I have fine, oily hair. Wouldn't I have to switch to shampoo for color-treated hair?

Hey girly, just take your time. Stand in front of your mirror, close the eye you want to work on and begin to line your eye. Slowly glide the pencil along the top lid of your eye. If you mess up that's cool, the first couple times you apply eye makeup won't be perfect. The more times you put on eyeliner, the better you'll get. Search youtube for some makeup tutorial videos that show people applying makeup. That way you can copy them and put your eyeliner on. Hope this helps ya!!!!!!!!!

Hey girly, some skinny jeans, leggings, heels, graphic tees, and a motorcycle jacket would look cute. If you get basics like shirts and jeans, and a jacket, you can always mix and match outfits. Go for mascara, black and colored eyeliner and lipgloss. You'll have a lot of fun in high school. You meet new peole and learn lots of things.

Hey girl! It def doesn't help but you can treat a pimple with a zit cream that has benzoyl peroxide in it. It will help dry up the zit super quick so covering it up for a day or two with makeup wont' be too huge of a deal!

Heyy. Ok so I really want to dye my hair blonde(well ive wanted to since summer) because i think itll match my skin tone and look good on me! And I want to cut my hair into choppy layers(like taylor momsen)and get bangs. The only problem is is that my mom wont let me dye my hair. She thinks its too expensive and it will be a hassle to have to keep redying it. So first of all, do you have any ideas as to how I can get her to let me? But I was also thinking if that doesnt work then, maybee I couldd get blonde highlights. Because my hair is dirty blonde right now(but i want to go platinum).

Hey girl, this might sound cliche, but it's totally true! The most attractive thing about a girl is her confidence. I'm glad you don't want to use things like makeup to attract this hottie. Since you've already got a leg up on your crush (i.e. he already thinks you're hilarious) use your sense of humor to finally seal the deal. Also, why not trying to be a little bit more bolder and asking him on a group date or a casual meet outside of school. As for some beauty tips: keep your nails well manicured, nothing flashy even a clear coat of polish will do; make sure you brush your hair will a dollop of shine serum to keep it looking healthy and nix messy flyaways; and some simple no hassle makeup tricks are pinching your cheeks and adding a coat of light pink lipgloss. Hey girl! For a casual get together, anything should be fine. Try wearing tights with a cute sweater dress and boots or even your fave jeans with a pretty loose fitting sweater. As far as make up goes, keep it light and natural. There's no need to get too dolled up. Your hair can be whatever you want. If you want it out of your face, try a chic up do. Hey gal, eyeliner is really cute. It comes in different colors, so it would be fun to experiment with all the different shades.For Thanksgiving you could wear a sweater with a skirt, tights and boots or a jacket, skinny jeans and flats. For you hair, try a pretty twist or braid or a low side curly ponytail. For your makeup, keep it simple with mascara, a little eyeliner, light eyeshadow and lip gloss. Hey girl, unfortunately if you have straight hair, you're going to need to use curlers (you can sleep in fabric ones!) or braids. Your hair texture isn't naturally like that. IF you have a bit of wave? Use style products for curly hair to bring out the wave you have.

I am in our grade 8 christmas play, a charlie brown christmas. I play Miss othmar the teacher and a little girl. My teacher said as long as i wear dresses i can wear almost anything that would fit with the theme. What should i do for Costumes, hair and makeup?

Hey girl, try a darker colored, pencil skirt and blouse for the teacher and a frilly, pink dress for the little girl. For the teacher's hair, put your hair in a bun. For the girl, go for pigtails. Have your mom help you with make-up. The girl wouldn't wear much, the teacher may wear a li'l more. Good luck and break a leg!
