Are you our next blogger babe?

Ever wish you could work for Girls’ Life? Now ya can! The Healthy You Girls are on the lookout for a new blogger babe.

We’re searching for one talented writer to blog about her health and fitness adventures. The winner will get her name printed on the masthead of the mag as a "Contributing Writer," right there along with all our other staff members.

Plus, we’ll send you free gear and fun workout DVD's to test out!

Here's what ya do to apply:

Write an essay explaining why you should be the next blogger babe. The essay should be 300 words or less, and should include some of your healthy goals and fave workouts.

Email your essay to g-life@girlslife.com by December 23rd to be considered. You must be between the ages of 10-17 to enter.

We gotta say, GL is great. Cool mods, lol embarassing moments, style tips. And then we have the clubs. They're fun, and great ideas. I did this thing i call club surfing, so i could check out the clubs and see if i want to join any. Problem is, none of thse clubs ever stay dedicated! Members leave, and posts are discontinued! Why? Because they don't get on, are too preoccupied, whatever. Well, coming soon, built by creativity, is Club Forever! Right now the profile is being moderated. I have not personally reached out to any members, but all spots are open. Hope to make GL great, with Club Forever! Anyone can join, so dont forget. It's coming soon!

i think you guys need to put a new article here, i was super excited and was about to enter an essay, then i saw the deadline. any way you guys could extend it? like have a 2-day re-opening for it? i know the mods don't deal with this stuff, but i'd really like you all to consider it. or at least i'd like to know how long it is between the blogger babe contests.

Sorry, chica! The deadline can't be extended for this contest. But I'm sure there will be another one in the near future.

Hey girly, right now you need to the best daughter you can. Stay on top of your grades and keep up with your chores, because the last thing your dad needs right now is any kind of stress from you. and try your best to be there for him. Offer an ear whenever he needs to talk. For Christmas, maybe you can make him something. A card or something cool, to show him that the holidays are not just about buying fancy things, it's about giving things from the heart.
