Hey girl,

You can try flirting with him, but flirting and putting his arm around Catie seems like they're dating or on their way to dating. It's tough because you like him, but you can't force him to feel a certain way. Just try to talk to him more often and let him get to know you... you'll be able to figure out how he feels after a little bit of time.

I really like this guy, and I consider him as my BGF. He flirts with me, teases me playfully, and talks to me a lot! But there's only one thing... this brat of a girl that I have known since kindergarten always flirts with him. I doubt he realizes this because all he does is blush around her, but he doesn't act the same way he acts around me. I strongly think he likes me, but she's getting in the way. And if this isn't enough, my gym class, including my teacher, always tease them saying "ooo!" and clapping whenever they talk to each other. He just displays an irritated face whenever they do that.
