I walked into school the other day and this cute guy in my class pulled out a chair and offered me a seat. I was thinking wow this is too good to be true as I moved closer to him and the chair.

Just then I saw a thumb tack right smack in the middle of the chair. I never actually sat down, but still! He... laughed... so... hard.

mod* i need help figuring out if this one guy likes me. he
1) we ALWAYS talk like today we were passing notes and the teacher was right in front of us and the principal was in the room too!!!!
2)we were told that we would be working in groups of two for something and automatically he pointed to me
3)he asked for my number
4)he said i should REALLY get a facebook, and now were counting the days till me b-day cause thats when i can get one

Hey girl! My parents didn't like when I was going out with boys when I was 16, lol. I don't think it's fair that you can't ask a boy out and go out with him, but it's ok if he asks you out. Ask your parents why that is. And if you think there is a boy that might like you, he'll probably ask you out at some point.

Hey girl, long-distance relationships can work as long as both people are dedicated and willing. You can always call, text, email or message him. If you haven't already, set up accounts on Myspace, Facebook or Skype so you guys can chat. You should set up days, weekends and holidays for you guys to meet up and hang. Hope this helps ya!

Ever since march, I've liked the same guy. HIs friends tell me that he does like me, but is too shy to do anything about it, and I'm kinda shy too. People say that we would be so great together cause we are both tall and play the exact same sports. I've talked to him many times, and text him, but I'm always the first to start a conversation. Is he even interested or just being nice? It's been too way too long.

I think you should talk more to him than you do to his friends about your and his feelings. You won't know the answer to your question unless you ask him, directly or indirectly. Suggest a hangout and see how that goes. I wish you luck, but keep in mind that there should be more to a relationship connection than you both being tall and liking sports. Best,

That really bothers me. When guys are mean, my mom use to say, "Oh, thats because they like you!" But thats not true, it's almost 2010, trust me, times have changed.

Now it's all about guys pretending to like you on chats and just mess with you. At school, your nobody to them.

yesterday was my bday. and my bf got me a necklace (and he kissed me on the cheek but i wasnt very comfertable about it but he doesnt know) okay so we havent been going out that long and stuff so i thought it was kinda weird and the card he gave me says "your the best gf ive ever had" wow i know sweet but uhm im not sure if i like him anymore (well that much anyway). i feel really bad and i dont want him to think i was using him for stuff and stuff. and also last week one of his friends was like hey since youve been going out with vana youve been alot happier and he was like yeah i really love her. but the problem is that my thought (and dreams!) have been drifting back to my ex (we been done for about 7 months but i have still liked him) but ive known my bf for 7 years and we have always been close but i think that if i broke up with him that he will never talk to me again and i know that i will really hurt him becuzz hes only had one other gf before and they wernt very serious. i feel superr bad at just the thought of breaking up with him but he doesnt deserve me if i like another guy and stuff. my bf also rides my bus and im afraid it will be reeeaaaaally awkward! how do you think i can break up with him without totally crushing him? also i wont be able to until next week since hes on vacation. thanks mods! p.s. im kinda afraid of what his mom will think if i broke up with him becuzz i know her pretty well and stuff....thankss!

Hey girl, relationships come together and fall apart for a lot of reasons, but it sounds like your feelings have faded. You're right, it's not fair to him if you two stay together. How to do it? Be gentle. He really cares about you, and you can't expect things to be ok right after. You're going to have to give him time. Let him know how much you appreciate him, but you just can't handle a boyfriend right now, that's all. Do not tell him you don't like him anymore. Some things are better left unsaid even if they are the truth.

How immature! when my mom was growing up, she got up 2 sharpen her pencil and while she was out of her seat, this guy who had a crush on her put his sharp pencil on her chair, and she sat on it, like on the tip and it went through her skin! she had 2 go to the nurses office and everything. She still has a scar from it!
