I really wanna try high waisted skirts out, but I'm not sure if I can pull it off . What kind of shirt would you wear with it? I'm thinking like just a plain tee or tank top and maybe a cardigan since it's cold? But , I don't know!

Hey babe, I would just wear a solid colored top, like a plain tee and yes a cardigan is a good idea. Just try them out until you find a style you like. Try Old Navy, H&M and Forever21.

I usually put cover-up on in the morning. Its foundation, sometimes I use the powder or bh. However, I have a very red tint-ness to my skin, im healthy and all but my skins slightly red. What should I wear so it will stay on all day? I put it on early, like 6:20 in the morning, but it wears out and my face is red. What should I use? why is it doing this? Thanks!

Hey girl! You might want to put lotion on your face before you put on foundation. You can always reapply throughout theday.

mod Mod- 1. Hi, I'm a black girl and I was wondering if you could tell me good makeup colors to match my skin and good Hais straitening products. 2. Also and good outfits to wear with a chain necklace.

Hey chica, I'm black too, so I know how difficult it can be to find colors to match our skin. But I like using colored eyeliner and mascara. Try plum, brown, green, and black eyeshadow and bright lipgloss, (pink is really cute) or red and plum lipstick. Sephora and Mac have really good maekup products. A black and white graphic tee, skinny jeans and tennis shoes would look cute with you chain necklace. A cute dress with leggings or tights and boots would be stylish too. Hope this helps ya!

Hey girl, it all depends on what the dress code is. If it's a semi-casual dance, you can get away with wearing skinny jeans and a nice blouse with a necklace. If not, ask one of your friends if you could borrow a skirt from them. (;

Hey girl, try doing just some light pearl eyeshadow, mascara, and lipgloss. It'll light your eyes up and make you look a little more awake. Hair-wise, I'd just wear it down and add a headband.

I went to my old high school for the first 5 weeks of freshman year(about 1/10 of the kids were from my elementary/middle school) but then my family moved to Europe. I'm moving back to my hometown for good next year (i'll be a junior) and I'm so worried about making friends. It's so weird because I will know some people, but they obviously changed and I don't want to go through the pain of being the new kid again. I haven't kept in touch with most of my friends from home, and I'm just sooo worried about how school will be for me socially. ANY advice will help...I'm that nervous...

Hey girl, that is tough and i wish you the best of luck. I would suggest maybe contacting some of your old friends asap and see what they are up to. At least that way you know you'll have someone to sit with at lunch..and take it from there. Be yourself and I'm sure everyone will be excited and curious that you are back.

MOD- I have a tendency to flatter myself. I don't have much SELF confidence, but I've never had a guy tell me he likes me like that. And some of my friends had BFs at 11 and I'm 14. By this point whenever a guy glances my way I pretend he likes me or something. It's really annoying that I get my hopes up. I'm a Freshman and I'm homeschooled but going part time to highschool. I'm not interested in any guys in the Freshman class, but I've met a lot of cuties in the Junior class because I'm in Chemistry and I have connections (no one I like in my Chem. class more than friends though). Well this one guy that I was introduced to once, but we never hit it off, he's really outgoing and funny and he always kind of looks at me when I walk by him to class. Our stairwell is really tiny and we always collide at the door and he always says, "go ahead" and seems really nice. like I said, he doesn't really talk to me and doesn't really show an interest in me, butI've noticed that he looks at me when I walk by and is always a gentleman

Do you think this means something? Please be honest, I have no idea when it comes to guys! And I'm a rather shy person!

Hey girl, I think it means he's just a polite guy honestly. Try talking to him a bit though and getting to know him. His gentleman gestures could lead the way to something else.

Thanksgiving day is my birthday,and i'm hhaving some trouble picking out my b-day/thanksgiving outfit! should i do:
-Pink, fancy strapless dress toughened up with a fitted leather jacket and a couple bangles
-a cute version of a indian costume (just as a joke)
-a grey and black pencil skirt and a ruffly purple top

Ok. I have a prob. I put WAY too much pressure on myself. I grounded myself yesterday because I only got 3 A's on my report card and the rest B's. It was totally UNFAIR cuz an A is a 93 and above right. I got 92s and 91s!!!! I was super mad at myself cuz I know I can do better. Science is my worst class and the teach doesn't do much to help us. I don't want to go to regular bio cuz I want to be a vet and I know how important grades are. I need help!!!!!!!!!! I am pressuring myself too much and it's making me freak out cuz I can't stop!!!!!!!! Help ME!!!!!!!!!

You're still doing great! It helps if you think of it like this: an A is supposed to mean that you're doing amazing in the class, a B stillmeans that you're doing above average work. Just keep working hard and it will pay off. Your grades probably don't matter that much for college or anything yet, so you can relax a bit.

Get to know this guy better. You can start by telling him nicely that your friend isn't interested and then talking to him more from there. The better he gets to know you, the easier it will be to forget her. If your friends are going to judge you for liking him they're not very good friends! If you really like him then go for it.

my friend in homeroom just told me she likes the same guy as me. I was totally bumbed out, and I told her I liked him too. She said she knows he's not into her, and I asked her if she thought he was into me. She shook her head no. I said he talks to me and stuff a lot. And talks to me in a way I think is sweet. But she said he talks to her in the same way. She put a huge cloud over my head now cause of this...gosh. What can I do now?
