its nearing Thanksgiving Break and i'm getting slammed with homework, having to stay up in the very late hours of the night and not even finish it. what can i do? i dont want to have to quit volleyball! (because its right after school and there are only a few weeks left)......like today i had to skip because i dont want to stay up past midnight! and im thinking of rejoining the swim team after volleyball ends, messing up my schedule yet again! how can i keep active and keep my grades up?!?
HELP!




Hey babe, hopefully you won't always have such a full load of homework so just stick with it now and it'll ease up! Do what you can at night and if you need to sleep, wake up early to finish it.  You'll work it out!

*MOD* I've been told that I should warm up THEN stretch before I go running, not stretch and then go running. Is that true? If it is, then is dancing to a song a good warm up?




Hey girl, I usually stretch and then run, but warming up is a good way to get your body started. I'd walk a bit but if you want a song to dance to, try anything by Lady Gaga.

Hey! You may know me as the vegetarian girl. I just want to say that I am not forcing anyone to go vegetarian and I am not bashing meat eaters. I just want to provide facts and give you the option to have the benefits of vegetarianism. I'm sick of getting rude comments from people that don't know better! But, thank you for all of you who support me and leave me good comments or questions or asking for advice.

MOD! Tomorrow I'm going to the movies with some friends, and I have a huge pimple on my face! I don't have foundation or any kind of make-up like that, because I don't usually wear it. How can I get rid of the pimple for tomorrow? Thanks.




Hey girl, pimples aren't something you can get rid of overnight. My suggestion is to a) not sweat it and b) just make sure you clean your face tonight and in the future. Use a cleanser morning and night to wash the excess oil off.

I have been having a bit of a prob lately. I'll go to school feeling fine, but by sixth or seventh period, I'm tired, I have a headache, and my eyes feel strained (I wear contacts). I'm sick of feeling drowsy in my favorite classes! What gives?




Hey girl, sounds like you aren't getting enough sleep at night. Be sure to get at least eight hours and to take your contacts out at night. Your eyes need a break.

Hey girl, you can always try running on a treadmill or just taking a walk around your neighborhood. I'm a way busy girl, but I make time for my runs. Sometimes you can schedule some exercise in that busy to-do list too.
