Happy Thanksgiving! Have you girlies taken on our Turkey Day Challenge yet? There’s still time, so get out there!

Last week we challenged you to a 30 minute sweat sesh ,and then asked you to share your workout with other girls here on G-Life. So blog away babes!

On Friday morning, we’ll choose one girl at random to win a Pulse Yoga Basic DVD, the perfect soothing workout for such a busy time of year. Good luck!

My work-out isn't too too fun but it burns tons of calories. I do 2-4 miles on a tradmil and a bike everyday. Along with that a do 20 regular situps, and ones to the sides. Plus 20 jumping jacks foward and to the sides. It seems like a lot but if you watch your favorite show the time can fly by like that. Trust me you fell great and accomplished when you are finished!

After the macy's parade, we played foot ball for an hour in the middle of the street in New york, rotfl. but the street was closed dont worry. then after dinner, we played capture the flag in my backyard, and im the youngest so imagine the running. fun workouts!

My gym class is 1 hour, so do you think I get my dailey excersise? Also I have dance class one hour and 15 mintues 2 days a week. But I don't feel fit? Tips please

Yes, it definitely seems like you're getting a good amount of exercise! Check out the G-Life section of our site to get some more tips! Try throwing in some weight lifting to your routine, or maybe yoga or pilates for strengthening exercises!!

i had to watch my little cousins...and that counts because they are so full of energy, one minute they are next to you and 5 seconds later they are upstairs somewhere.....crazy kids!! lol <3

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!!!!!! I spent A LOT of time with my fam, and exercised as well!!!!!! We ran around our house a bunch a times (which is weirdly a tradition =) and we went on a jog for 30 minutes. I spent time with my family, and got some healthy exercise in!!!! And I enjoyed it, 2!!!!!! Loved the challenge GL!!!!!!! Can you consider a Christmas challenge? Hint, Hint!!!!!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

First I took my 3-year0old sister out of my parents way (they were in the middle of cooking at the time) and took her into my room where we danced for half an hour. Later I went outside in the cold and played football with my dad and bro for 40-50 minutes. I'm still recovering from a cold so I couldn't do everything I as planning for, glad I could do something though!

i convinced my sister and mom to brave the cold with me and we played around the world/horse for about 20 minutes, then i did stretching/yoga/situps/pushups for another 10 minutes while watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Luv johnny depp. "Even i am eatable. but that, my friends, is called cannibalism, and is frowned upon in most societies."

I went on Wii fit! (It was raining so I couldn't do anything else) but i did 30 min. of arobics, yoga and of course some of the games!

ill do my ususal 5 min sweat seshs cuz i dont hav my runnin shoes. its wat i try 2 do everyday. i use a soccer ball. i do 1 min toe toches on the soccer ball, 1 min plank, 1 n a half min of dribling ball between my feet, then 1 n a half min of plank. its a good workout. n u can incorporate pushups 2. so then its good 4 everything

I walked 4 large far-apart cul-de-sacs, (uphill, flat, downhill, a mix) for 10-15 min
30 min. of rockin it out to some upbeat tunes
then another walk around two cul-de-sacs close together flat cul-de-sacs for 5-15 min
and i'm gonna go back out to walk some more soon! Laughing

it took awhile but i completed.....

stretches and yoga-15 minutes
20 lunges
plank-2 sets for 35 seconds
20 squats with leg lifts
dance-30 minutes
biking-15 minutes
hulahooping-10 minutes

MOD!MOD!MOD!help! i don't know what to do for excersice. I usually ride my bike but it's broken and i don't like to run. I know you said to dance but i already did that. any ideas? if you can't think of anything do you have any REALLY GOOD strength training moves that give you results fast. Thanks a million. I'm so bad at running, so I got on WII active! I feel SOOO tired out afterwards! In the past, my legs have been sore for two days!

I did a 5K run today at my local park district called the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot. My mom came along too, and I really worked hard and broke a sweat! It was really fun and it was for a great cause too. Our money went to raise awareness for the Spina Bifida Association of Illinois! I feel great!

Help!! I don't like to run and i usually ride my bike, but it's broken and i don't know what to do for cardio. i know you said dancing but i already did that. Is there anything else?

i did some yoga for about 10 minutes then went to some full cardio for the next 20 minutes then i went for a walk for 15 more minuites and now i feel great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING GIRLS! WELL for my "Turkey Day Challenge" I stretched, did some of those awesome workouts in the new GL magazine, did some sit ups, push ups, and tricep dips! (well i saw New Moon yesterday and my new resolution is to get muscular like Talyor Lautner(stupid but a girl can only try ;)) Have a great and yummy Thanksgiving!

i ran three miles in 20 mins.
did 10 mins. of yoga
did 10 mins. of strength
cooled down with 20 sit-ups
took a long hot shower

I woke up and stretched and did 10 push up to get my body moving then I did my favorite workout from a Paula abduls cheerleading workout DVD then I did 10 more push up then the jump section of her DVD then I did the some sit ups withy legs on my bed and I had to touch my toes then I did some stretching to cool down=)

I went hunting with my dad this morning and we were walking around for about an hour and a half. It was hard walking, too, because we had to go through brush, and long grass, and stuff like that.

MOD!!!MOD!!!!! Hi im trying to do this turkey day challenge and i did some pilates and some more ab exercises but were i live its really cold in the morning so its really hard to go jogging.I was wondering if you had any other cardio ideas Thanks!!

 

Hey girl! Try blasting some music for 20-30 minutes and dancing around your room. That will def get your heart racing and keep you nice and toasty inside!

Warm up walk around the block for bout 20 min. Then stretched for 5. Yoga/Pilates vid for bout 20 more min. Then stretch for 5.
