a friend of mine are being so mean to me!there are telling me on IM that a guy i dated never liked me and that i didn't know him very well and ganging up on me and i don't what to do!(FYI she has a friend over right now and that friend is taking her side) my other friend (the one thats over at her house)is making up reason why its ok for this girl to be treating me like this right now im crying very hard cuz of it. what should i tell them???




Hey girlie, I think you should just stop talking to them. Just end the conversation, and if you feel like it, confront them about their behavior later!

MOD MOD MOD I have a friend, (lets call her Jane). Every time were around guys she acts SUPER flirty even when she doesn't like them! Recently she went to camp and shes telling my b.g.f how ALL the guys like her and gave her their numbers. Its driving me crazy! And she always acts inappropriate and the guys seem o.k. with it! And I will admit I am kind of jealous! What do I do? Every time I tell her to stop flirting with them she says shes not. And she hurts them!

There's these really pretty girls at my acting group! They have great singing voices, and they are the popular girls there. I know one of them, she's very pretty and nice! But she hangs out with them! Some of them are nice but this one girl Liz can be really mean and can get annoyed VERY easily! I'm 13 and one girl Desiree is younger than I am but looks so much older and is part of their clique! I don't know if it's 'cause I'm shorter and all the rest of them or just not "cool enough" I don't know but I feel left out! I hang out with my friends who are two years younger than I am. Do you think that's why? I'm upset and I feel left out!




Hey! It's really hard when you feel excluded but you just have to get out there and be outgoing if you want to make more friends there. But that doesn't mean ditch your old friends either. Good luck!

I used to have some friends like that they were fun to hang out with when there nice to you so anyways, they are bullies!! they kicked me out of their group like 3 times!! and the only to girls who don't get kicked out are Brianna and Serena the "Leaders" everyone follows them and I'm not a follower and so this one girl Caitlyn she does what ever they do if Brianna or Serena doesn't like me then she doesn't and some Malee girl doesn't they do that to everyone i don't hate them but i seriously don't like them and will never be friends with them EVER no matter what.

Ugh, my best friend is being rude and mean the past week. Because on facebook, before I say something I regret, I'll go offline then back online. She asked why, and I said "because i wanted to..." but not in you know a mean way. Then I said, "It's not like you ever want to talk to me anyways!" so she replies, "yeah, so?" and then, once she said bye without going offline, so i asked her why she was still on. "I said bye because I didn't want to talk to you." She isn't going through anything big right now, because she'd tell me. I still want to be her best friend, but I hate how she treats me. :/ What do i do?




Hey girl, it was kind of mean to accuse her of not wanting to talk to you.  But it was also mean for her to say she didn't want to talk to you.  I wouldn't think of this as a huge argument, so it'll probably blow over in a few days.

i have a BFF who is younger than me. but i can go to her with anything and i know that she will be there for me, but not to long ago her dad said that he doesnt approve of our friendship and that i make her do things she doesn't want to do, and its not true. he is a youth pastor at our church and my older brothers are kinda rebellious against him because they dont approve of his ways, well anyway, so he said that he doesn't bless our friendship and that it will only be bad. i wasn't suppose to know this but she told me. i cant talk to him to get his reasons because well im not suppose to know this, but i also found out that all her cousins and even some family members talk trash about me and my family. it really hurts. i decided to push it aside but now i can't deal with it. she acts really differently around me, like she is this perfect little angel and she really changed, i just want my old BFF back, but i don't think that will happen. Should i say bye to her forever??
Also we go to the same church to avoiding her will be kinda hard...

So, I love my friends, I really do, but whenever I come up with something I think is cool, or find something that I like they always have to copy me and become obbsessed with it. MOD MOD....I am in a super duper complex situation right now. There are 2 girls who have been my BFFs for a while. It started as a group of 4 and 1 moved. Now there are 3 of us, and well, now I feel like its just the 2 of them. They have changed soo much! They have both been sexually touched, (at 13/14!) and drunk and all of that stuff. Apperently they have been gossiping about me a whole lot, and they didn't even know it was my b day when it was. There is another group in our grade, and the 2 groups do not get along, but I get along well with all of the girls in this other group. I am now good with both groups. The problem is, they gossip about each other A LOT, and I am excpected to be like a spy. I cannot handle this, I have already said a bit that I should not have, and now one of the girls who was my BFF told me "Dont say I never warned you" when I told her I wasn't a gossip. I want to say that I refuse to tell anyhitng even if there is gossiping going on, and I will. But the 2 girls, are of course, popular, and they are making all of the boys be rude to me. I have no idea what to do, my best friends aren't my best friends any more! I am soooo stuck, and I have no one to talk to! Help please, I need some advice

I don't get it -- why would you want to be friends with girls who are mean?? If it's because you want to be popular like them, it's not worth it. Trust me -- been there, done that. I found myself a really great friend group -- the Nerd Herd -- and everyone is soo nice. You'll end up like these girls if you become friends with them.

Start out slow. Tell her little things about your day. Get her to tell you little things about hers. Once this continues for a little while you'll feel more comfortable opening up to her. It's great that you want to talk to her because a lot of girls shut their mom's out of their lives and they lose a valuable resource. You'll get there, just start talking.

Hey babe, If you don't feel that way about either of them, it'll be easy to try to keep them from getting in a fight over you: just let them both know that you love them as friends but aren't interested in them that way. They might be hurt at first, but if you give them time and space they'll probably get over it.

there are these two girls at my school and they never EVER cared about until about this last week. They are both cousins and it all started off with one of them talkingto me onsn tellin me to fight and tha she could beat me up. I told my parents and a teacher heard about or and talked it over with us. I deleted her off m msn and she deted me. I thought that problem was over until her cousin came I the picture, today at school n friend was taking pictures with her camera of me and her other friend near the cousins, later the acused us of stalking them and rakin pictures of them, which we were decinetly not doing! They spread it all over school and this bot said they could sue us! I'm sick and tired of all the drama they are causing and the problem is they are my sisters friends! Don't give me advice saying talk it ove wiu them or tell an adult bc I've done both! I'm tryig to avoid them but they just keep bullying! Help me please!!! Please please help!!




Hey girl, I know you don't want to hear it, but you need to continue talking to a teacher or guidance counselor about them. Tell your parents. At this point, only an adult can really get them to permanently give bothering you a rest. Stay clear of them and just keep your distance. Be polite to their face to avoid adding heat to the fire. The flames will die down -- just give it time.

I think it is a good idea to try to be nice to the mean girls, you could make them nicer, therefore changing the whole atomsphere of the school, I say keep trying and go for it! I know some people might not aggree, but thats okay cause its their opinion. Just be careful with your actions toward them, you dont want to make anything worse.

The best thing to do in long distance relationships is to communicate...A LOT. Talk every day and let each other know how much you miss them. If he's good for you, he'll accept the fact that you have to be gone for 3 months but if he can't do that, he's just not mature enough for you. Talk to him about setting up a talking schedule and you should be good to go.

Hey girl, no way to make this private sorry! Just try to keep your hair out of your face, wash your skin with mild face wash like Cetaphil and moisturie daily. If you use a light lotion specifically for your face, it wont clog your pores. xo JANA

Hi babes, everyone keeps talking about symptoms. SOMETIMES there is some breat tenderness or cramps that go along with having your period, but these things do not go hand in hand. Just because you are feeling tender doesnt mean youre getting your period and just because you have your period doesnt mean youre going to have all that stuff that sometimes goes with it.  It could just be that your breasts are growing. xo JANA

there is this guy in my curling club and he is pretty cute, when we play games he usually ends up on my team and compliments me on my play. I'm not sure if. Like him yet bc i've only known him for about 5 weeks. But I was wondering how I can tell if I liked him and if he liked me? What are some signs.

Hey girl, if a guy likes you, he tries to hang out with you and talk to you as much is possible. It sounds like both of those guys like you, I wouldnt rush into anything, just see how you feel towards them. You will definitely know when your feelings move from just friendly to actually liking someone. As for the boob thing, it is all genetic. I am a mix between my mother and grandmother. There is no sure way to tell how big yours will get or when they will start growing xo JANA

There is this guy that likes my best friend thats liked her since last year. She didn't like him but then she started to like him just this month and he started dating someone just as she started to like him. Hey girl, all you can do right now is be here for her and try to help her keep her mind off of it. Be supportive and listen to her but dont let her sit around analyzing it all the time. That will just keep her sad. Right now he is off limits so she should focus on living her life and enjoying herself. If they break up and she still cares about him, I dont see any harm in her trying to see if things can work out. xo JANA

Hey babe! no worries! It's natural to have silence and pauses in conversation.  If the other person has nothing to say, then they probably feel like they're being the awkward outsider looking in, or they could just be spaced out/zoned out and have stuff on their mind.  Stay confident and believe in yourself.  If you keep your confidence and cool, you won't have to worry about not having anything to say.

i need some help. over the summer, i went on the clubpenguin website which i go on every so often. but this time i went on and somebody said are you good and i was like yeah and i went back to their igloo. before i knew it, i got involved in virtual sex. i didnt understand at first but then later on i guess i did but i didnt think of it as me having sex but as me making the penguin have sex. it only happened a few times and now that i found out how wrong it was, i havent been on that site. i actually havent been on since the incident in the summer even before i found out it was wrong. i am a Catholic and against premarital sex. i would NEVER want to break that. and i am so upset about what i did. did i have sex? am i not a virgin anymore? am i bad person? please answer these questions. i have tried to forget about it, but i go to a Catholic school and i here about sin and everything and all i want is to be a good person and go to Heaven. i am so upset over this and i just dont know how to deal. i dont even know why i took part in something like this. help me please. i really wanted to go the Silver Ring Thing which is about chastity and i wanted to take a vow of chastity. Wow okay well first of all, you're definitely NOT a bad person and you ARE still a virgin. Virtual sex is not the same as real sex, especially since it was with a penguin. Get your parents involved and if you want to report the person with the profile that the incident happened with, that might be a good idea. If that's too embarrassing then just delete your profile off of the clubpenguin website and don't go on again. If you're still having trouble with lingering thoughts, talk to someone that you can trust at your church to get everything off your chest. They can handle the more religious aspects of your questions that we can't answer. Hey guys so when i saw this i ws like "I went throught the SAME thing". And i know that alot of you guys are like "psh thats an easy situation" But its really not. When you get to a certain age, your groups are set and people see you as that one thing. Its really hard to switch groups. And that mean girl thing really hurts you inside. I would know. At this moment i would say to not give up and to 1st have confidence, no girl that may be popoular wants to bring her group down and doesnt want to be associated with a non confident person. 2nd its going to take some time so dont worry if they dont befriend you at first. 3rd try doing stuff that you and them are intreasted in. So jusst dont give up! And always remember to be nice and relax. Make sure that you have some back-up real friends too. They dont want to be friends with someone that seems incapeable of making friends. Hope that helped! Smile

I have a huge problem. I have a guy friend. I don't think I like him, but at the same time I'm not sure if I do. There's this girl who is really flirty with him, and I feel kinda sad when she is with him. I've known him since last year and we've been best friends ever since then. I like to think of him as kind of a brother cuz we argue a lot, but they're silly arguments. He makes fun of me a lot and he loves hugging me, even though I don't like him to. It sounds like you have a ton of friends, so stay true to being a good person and the best ones will stick by your side, popular or not popular! Having a few good friends is all you need. No matter how many people surround you, sometimes you can feel lonely if they aren't really there for you. So if she isn't being a good friend, but you want her to be, ask her about it. You may have a really good convo that smooths things over.

 

Just ask your mom about the bras! She'll help you buy one that fits. And for procrastinating, set ONE goal a day and get it done! You'll feel great and get even more done in the days later.

Ok this is sorta confuising.
Ok so my parents are split up and my dad is really good friends with my god mother and I love her like she's my own mother and whenever I go to my real moms house she gets mad if I say anything about my god mother. My mom thinks that I love my god mom more then her her which I don't and I try to explain it she yells that my god mom should go away cuz she's not my real mom and she swears about her. I hate it because i love them both and there the most important people in my life. My mom says she wants to get my god mother in trouble with the police. I wanna cry cuz this is going way to far! How can I convince my mom I need my god mom but I love her just the same??

Have you tried talking to your god mother about how you feel? She may be able to give you the best advice, so that you can retain your relationship and all of its love and importance, but so that you can be closer to your mom, too.

then my eyes look on dark and scary!

heyy.. um so ther is this guy michael . we started talkin at the beginning of the break.. instantly, we were good friends.. Like,we can talk about almost anything.. He and i are in the same grade, same school, (9th grade). he told me he saw me and stuff.... uhmm yeha and he commented on my pic saying aww so innocent ;) and then he said cute. .. and i found out that he liked me. i like him too. about 4 days ago we tlaked about meetimg(at school.) he hasnt mentioned it since then though. we remain talking n stuff. then today i messaged hm and he said that he didnt want to talk now... then i said k w/e.. then he said im not tyring to be mean then he told me it was cuz of his family and he wastnt going to get into it. then i said ok im sorry then i said if u want to just talk imm here for u.. now when we start talking agn what can i say to him? o n we go back the 4th of Jann.. and when we message he and i write <3 and ;) alot, he initaties it ususally.. uhm.. yeah.. i basically know that he likes me, but what should i do? and on a facebook status i wrote, ive met mr cheater, mr liar, and mr ( i dont remember) so wheres my mr right and hes like here . i sadi aw, and he said <3.. so what do i do

moderator thank you so much for the help. i am definitely staying away from that site. i will never ever go on there again. i really wish i could tell my mom but i dont think i can. she has expectations and is so proud of me and i think if she knew this she would be disappointed even though it was a weird situation. thank you so much for the help. i have another question that's not so serious. there is this one guy that i have liked off and on ever since i met him. he is really nice and sweet and goes to my youth group. the problem is that we go to different schools and he has been too busy to come to youth group. he used to like me when we first met but i didnt want to date because i was 14 and i didnt know him very well yet. ever since that things have been kind of weird between us. i will see him in person and he will be super nice and flirty and my friends will say it seems like he likes me. but then i text him and he barely answers me and acts so disinterested. what do i do with a boy who gives me hot and cold signals? i have tried getting over him and not texting him for months but nothing seems to change anything. it's a confusing situation. i hope this makes sense.

 

Hey chica, glad I could help!... That sounds like a frustrating situation and boys can be really confusing.  But you shouldn't put anymore energy into talking to him if he acts disinterested when you do.  Maybe you should try getting over this guy and not texting him.  If he wants to talk to you, then he'll text you.
