So, I think I love this guy at my school. My friends say I should stop crushing on him. They think it’s wrong.


This guy is like 16 years older than me...he’s my science teacher. He’s the only one of my teachers I can be totally honest with. What do you think I should do? Am I really in love with him? Am I going overboard for crushing on him?


Hey girl!

Sounds like you’re in a serious stich! Your friends are giving you good advice, but you’re still not sure if crushing your teacher is actually the WRONG thing to do, since he’s someone you really trust and admire, too. It’s totally OK to think that Teach is a cutie, but your pals have some good points. It’s not a good idea to have romantic feelings for a teacher, no matter how old they are.


Careful crushing

I think you’ll like my rule of thumb—it’s what I like to call “careful crushing.” This is when you think someone is super-cool or a major hottie but keep your eyes peeled for other guys to help distract you from continuing to fall deeper for a forbidden fella.


I would hate to see you fall head over heels for your teacher and get hurt when you realize that he’s not crushing back. But, your friends are probably right—liking a teacher is bound to be a heartbreaker! Your buddies are just looking out for your best interest. That said there's one super-serious thing to remember: If you think your prof is putting the moves on you and you feel uncomfortable about it, PLEASE tell a trusted adult ASAP. It's not right (and not to mention it's totally illegal!) to have a relationship with your teacher.


The science of love

Yeah, maybe your teacher makes you feel like he's giving you special attention when he smiles or compliments your good work, but you gotta learn that it's not really love. He’s just being a really great teacher and helping you to learn and to grow in his class. That’s why he's probably so attentive.


Sometimes, we can feel like we’re in love without receiving the same response from the person we’re in love with. It’s easy to confuse or mistake a teacher’s special attention with more romantic feelings. But, babe, you gotta learn that it's going nowhere.


BTF = Best Teacher Forever

Teachers, like your closest gal pals, can have a great impact on your life. I still talk to some of my favorite teachers, and you probably will after graduating from high school, too! Just because Teach isn’t worth the crush doesn’t mean he isn’t worth the mentorship.


Tell your BFFs about my rule of careful crushing. That way, they’ll call you out if they see you cruising your love boat into rocky water again. Ask your besties to hook you up with a new cutie at school! Think about what you like about your teacher. Is he a good listener? Has he got hilarious jokes? Look for a fella more your age with those same qualities. Good luck, girl!

MOD MOD MOD :C ok so my best friend is really tall and not that fast, and the gym teacher hates her! he shows his hate in class. lik he yells at only her and makes her pick up everything. the problem is there is no other teachers so we cant prove anything cuz its a rule or something that u have to have an adults witness or something Frown please help!

Hey girly,

The best thing that you can do in this situation is to go to a parent or a guidance counselor and tell them what is happening. They will be able to help you get this all straightened out. Do not try to confront the teacher or anything like that.

Today my ex boyfriend told me that he likes me! He has also liked my friends call them x and y. K so my ex call him z. So in the beginning of the year z asks x out. They go out for a day. X is one of my bffs and I liked z at this time. So after x dumps z, z says he likes y after a few weeks. I don't like z anymore and y is another fiend of mine. Y hears z is gonna ask her out and tells him she wants to be friends. A few weeks later I find out z likes me and I start to like him. We go out for 5 days but then I break up with him cuz he wanted to break up with me. So now z says he has liked me this whole time. And it's been 2 months since we broke up. And I don't rlly like him but I think he is cute. What should I do I'm in a sticky and awkward sitch!

 

HI babes, girl, his actions speak louder than words. He went through BOTH of your friends before getting to you. If he liked you, he woulndt have done that in the first place. Plus he sounds like a serial dater and like he doesnt take relationships seriously. I say move on. xo JANA

Hey doll!  The guy who likes you probably invited you because he thinks you're cool to hang out with.  But if the other guy who invited you doesn't like you, I'm not sure why he did.  Just casually ask them what made them invite you, a girly girl, to a guy- get together.

Ok well one of my guy friends likes me. I mean he has liked me for like a year now and I think he is going to ask me out soon. Here's the problem:
1. I've never had a boyfriend. I'm in 7th grade and I've never thought that dating in 7th grade was something I'd want to do because I have to focus on my health, (I get sick all the time and I have some conditions and almost everyone in my family has some kind of illness.), my schoolwork, and my after school activities.
2. My mom would let me have a boyfriend, it's just that we couldn't tell my dad. I know this sounds bad but he overreacts to EVERYTHING. Especially this kind of stuff.
3. I secretly like him but haven't told anyone yet.
4. I'm just plain scared.

Hey babe! I think you should let him know that the feelings are mutual and you like him too! You could see where things go from there, even if you don't start dating right away you could still hang out and talk with each other.  And just because you both like each other doesn't mean you won't have time for yourself and your extra activities.  You could let him know that going into the relationship! It's important to have a balance and not miss out on your hobbies, classes, and sleep.

You could use options for going through this stage, one: Tell your teacher how you feel and tell him you understand or two: just tell your parents and see what they tell you is the best thing to do or three:sit down and make a list of things you can do and pick the right one

We have a few hot teachers at my school and one is especially gorgeous and has one of those model faces with a toned body. Its kind of bad because we all talk about him like he is a piece of meat and we make comments about him and his butt. I havent had a crush on him but I did sort of like one of my teachers.

But as long as you dont do anything I think its ok to crush on a teacher. Just make sure its only one of those fantasy things and something you wont ever go through with.

Look at how we all crush on the New Moon guys and Zac Efron, they are all older than we are, so its normal to feel like that when they are hot and have amazing bodies. Its just natural.

Even the show Glee did an episode where the teacher was being crushed on and pursued really bad.

I think this guy likes me wich is ironic since I liked him last year. But hes also sending mixed singals some times he totally ignores me and he has his on again off again GF. Other times hes messing around with me / teasing me and my other friends (including guys) say they think hes crushing on me. I really like my bgf, Bryan the thing is...
1. He went out with two of my bffs Kate and Nicole.
2. They both dumped him and then he re-asked them out.
3. They both told me to say no to him if he asks me but I really really like him.
4. I just got a text from him literally 10 SECONDS ago saying he's going out with Nicole AGAIN. I'm really really crushed.
5. What I don't understand is WHY Nicole would tell me not to if he asked me when she can say yes to him for the THIRD TIME!! I'm really upset.
6. If she's one of my bffs why can't she tell me this??? BRYAN tells me this before she does!!!!! She didn't even tell me this, HE did.
7. My head hurts over this, it hurts to see them make out or to even see them hug for all I care. It kills me 100 times a day. Just the THOUGHT of them together kills me.

Hey babes, she probably told you to say no because she still liked him and didnt want you stealing him away from her. Girls are really awful soemtimes. My suggestion is to just move on. it makes no sense to worry over a guy that sounds like he isnt all that great. What kind of dude breaks up with someone and reasks them out not to mention the question of what kind of day breaks up with someone and then dates the girls friend? but i want or am going on a Boy fast.

Hey babe, I love that song too!! I think there are a few lyrics that are a bit inappropriate though, so you would definitely have to find an edited version of the song and make sure someone at the school approves it so you won't get into trouble. I would get a backup, just in case.

Hey chicky, well puberty is different for each person. For some it's over after two years and for others puberty lasts for five years, so it just depends on your bod. Just know it's a gradual thing and brings a lot of changes. Smile

My parents are anti every thing i'm into. i used to wear black nail polish all the time then my dad caught it and said i have to throw away the bottle and take of what i had on they won't let me watch twilight even thou i'm 13 and they won't let me wear avril lavines lign of clothes from kohls! Why won't they respect what i'm into?!!!!!!!!!!

I think my BGF has a crush on me, it seems so obvious. And I think I have a crush on him too. I want to confront him about it, but I'm scared. If I end up dating him then we break up, I don't want to end up hating him like both of his other ex's. Both of them used to be friends with him but now they hate him. I don't want that to happen to me. We've been friends for 8 years and it would be devastating if we weren't friends anymore. I don't want our relationship to change, but at the same time I'm curious what would happen between us if we did date. Should I confront him or just leave it go?????




Well if youre so worried about hating him afterward, i say you confront him and then if things dont work out dont let it get to the point where you hate him. if you try your hardest to not hate him and stay friends no matter if you work out or not, then things will be ok. ok so i dont no what to do because i think i really really like my bgf... but there is a problem i think one of my friends lets call her kellie likes him... so it started when i told her at my late bday party (before i left moved across town so i go to a diffrent school now)that i really really liked him... but i think she likes him to because then. they added each other on facebook.. and now for some reason he wont reply to anything i wright him on facebook... i dont think kellie would tell him or ruin it or anything but i cant help but think what happend because when i first left we talked all the time and he would say all the time that he missed me and that he couldnt wait till he could see me again. and if i didnt go to the same high school as him the world would end for him... and then i told him about that i told this other guy that ( lets call my bgf and crush bob.) bob and i were kinda like best friends and then i told bob no wores it didnt have to be true because i didnt want to make him feel weird cuz i didnt talk to him about it first.. and then he replyed and said it could be true.... but ever since then he wont talk to me or reply... and i dont no what i did... when i asked kellie if they ever talked in school since i left she said only sometimes in the hall they would say hi... and the thing is i was the only girl that i could tell or see him huging.... like one of my other friend s would hug him all the time and touch his hair and u could tell he didnt feel comfortable about it but if i did it he wouldn't care.... and he even hugged me first not me hugging him first.... so what do u think all his means??? and why do u think he wont talk to me any more on facebook????
P.S sorry that its really long....


Well he might like you. You can never be sure with bgf. But also the facebook thing might just be that he doesnt really get on anymore. Sometimes people dont get on very often to comments on their walls go unnoticed. I think you should keep trying to get in touch with him. Good luck! xoxo kerra

Ok, I guess you can say I have been feeling a little bunned out lately. I really like this guy, but he has a gf. Okay. SO there is this girl (let's call her..Hannah) at my school. Hannah starts TONS of drama now, so I kinda stopped hanging out with her. So Hannah likes a kid named Mark at our school. Well Mark loves me, but i don't like him at all! So Hannah Started spreading a ton of rumors about me! Because she was jealous! She called me a B**ch at the dance, and my BFF,and a ton of other stuff. it ruined our entire night, and we went home crying.
So now Hannah is BFF's with one of my closest BFF's. Everytime i hang out with her, Hannah gets mad and starts spreading more stuff about me. It is ridiculous. I have confronted her about it, and she just ignores me and walks away. I try to ignore it, but it is super hard. AND she is one of the main reasons my BFF and her BF broke up. MOD~MOD~MOD I know I posted this somewhere else, but I am looking for multiple opinions. Thanks! Ok so I had my 6 friends over on Wednesday, Nicole, Kimmy, Kate, Liz, Bryan, and Tyler. Nicole is going out with Bryan. BUT, Nicole also likes Tyler. Tyler and Bryan both like her back so its really annoying. Nicole and Bryan have kissed and made out before too, they definitely overdo it. Plus, Bryan and Tyler both know that she likes both of them too. Kate went out with Bryan until about three weeks ago. She broke up with him because she said she wanted to only be friends. She claims to like Tyler now, she acts like it, but she also told me on Wednesday that she likes Bryan again. I like Bryan too. I don't want to like him, I just do. I've liked him longer than both of them. But, before he was dating Kate I told him I liked him but he said "sry but i dont liek u liek dat" I said ok that I only wanted to be friends because I kinda do, but kinda wish it were more but don't wanna ruin our friendship. But, now it's different, we have nicknames for each other and stuff and he calls me by mine more than I call him by his. So, here's what happened today at my house: We all started off great, then my mom brought out my American Idol game. Then Kate, Nicole, Tyler, and Bryan were getting bored and went to go play truth or dare in the basement, it turned into spin the bottle while, Kimmy, Liz, and I went to my room. Finally we came together again and played truth or dare. Tyler and Nicole were dared to stay in the bathroom together for 1 minute (and not do anything inappropriate). They didn't come out for about 5 minutes. Bryan started to get worried. Finally they did, laughing hysterically. Then Bryan was asked to kiss someone who wasn't Nicole or Kate or Tyler. He didn't do it, cuz he was somewhat uncomfortable and didn't pick me, Kimmy or Liz. What does this mean? What does this all mean? Help? Sorry its so long

 

 

Hey doll!  It sounds like maybe you should continue to just be friends with Bryan.  Especially since he goes with Nicole.  You don't want to get caught up in any boy drama with your friends.
