Fresh strawberries (whole)
Other treats for dipping like pieces of pound cake, sliced bananas and large marshmallows
Directions:
Pour a bag of semi-sweet chocolate morsels into a microwave safe bowl.
Pop it into the microwave and melt the chocolate for 30 seconds.
Take out and stir the chocolate, then nuke for 20 more seconds.
Repeat until the chocolate is completely melted, making sure to stir each time so that chocolate doesn’t burn.
Set out and allow guests to dip treats into melted chocolate, using forks to create that one perfect bite.
Better Off Red Cupcakes

1 box Red Velvet cake mix
1 container of vanilla (white) icing
1 bottle of red food coloring
Directions:
Buy a prepared mix for red velvet cake and follow the instructions for cupcakes on the box. (or try this Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting recipe to make them from scratch)
After baking the cupcakes, allow them to cool then top off each cupcake with icing (or click on the above link for cream cheese icing recipe)
Add a Twi touch by dripping red food coloring on top of each cupcake.
Big Bite Jell-O
Ingredients:
Cherry Jell-O
Plastic fangs
Directions:
Make a batch cherry Jell-O by following the instructions on the box.
Instead of pouring the liquid Jell-O mixture into the large glass dish as recommended, pour it into individual bowls for your guests.
Before the Jell-O sets, place a set of plastic fangs inside each bowl for a sinister surprise.
Place in the fridge and let them to chill completely before party time.
True Blood Punch
Ingredients:
1 quart apple juice
2 pints cranberry juice cocktail
4 liters 7-Up
2 cups strawberries (cleaned, tops removed and cut up)
2 apples (washed and cut into small slices)
2 blood oranges (peeled and cut into slices)
Red decorating sugar
Directions:
Make your own fruit punch by adding a quart of apple juice, 2 pints of cranberry juice and 4 liters of 7-Up to a punch bowl.
Then add strawberries, apples and blood oranges to your punch mixture.
Pour the red sugar sprinkles (find them in the aisle with the cake decorating supplies) on a plate.
Wet the edge of your glasses with a lemon wedge then dip the top of the glass into your red sugar so that sugar sticks to glass and rims the edge.
Carefully place ice in the glass and ladle in the punch for your guests, being sure to avoid the sugar rim.
