My friends are all “getting to the next level” with their boyfriends.
I just don’t feel comfortable with it.
Now when my BF and I hang out with my friends, I feel awkward! Any advice?
Give yourself props for not feeling pressured into doing something you’re not ready for. If your friends and boyfriend respect you, they won’t question your decision. Life isn’t a race, so there’s no reason to rush into things.
If you feel awkward, remind yourself that you’re taking your time, enjoying yourself at each stage of your relationship and doing what you are comfortable with. There’s nothing weird or uncomfortable about staying true to yourself.

julianna7: Are you sure your friend had it?? Are you sure she's not lying? Has she even gotten her period yet? I really doubt she knows how to do it........ Becuase if she did it that is kind of disturbing!!! tell your friend that it is NOT NORMAL to do that at age 9...... WHO ELSE THINKS THIS IS COMPLETLY WORNG?? Alyssa B.

I'm in 3rd grade and I have no idea what the s word is,but my friend had it!!Trust me she said it's not fun.She is only 9 and she wanted to try it so she asked the boy she had a crush on(they play at each other's houses sometimes.they're friends) to do it an he said yes!!!!!He went to her house and did 'it'(I have no idea what it or the s word is) and at first it hurt then she liked it.Now she regrets it.She was fine and did'nt have to do controll. Is 9 too young to do it??I think so.She apoligized to the boy the next day at school and he said it was ok and now they are so called 'dating'.My friend calls it dating. They do small kisses, they went with their parents to a carnival and they rode a ride together and shared cotton candy and kissed a little,bt there parets have never seen and don't know. What can I do?And she turns 10 in a few months and she's considering havng 'it' again because she thinks she's matured. It's only been two months.Help?
