A Day in the Life of a GL Intern: A Reader AND an Intern!

Just posing with another bright GL backdrop

Hey girlies! My name is Julia and I am an intern here at GL... but not only that, I'm also a reader!

A couple of years ago, my friend introduced me to GL. Every time she got a copy, I would go over to her house and read it cover-to-cover. And finally, my parents let me subscribe.

As soon as I got that first issue, I read it over. And over. And over again. One day, I was just looking at and I saw that you could intern in GL once you're over 12. And ever since then, it's been my dream to intern at my favorite magazine!

Yep, I write for GL, too!

The first day I came to GL I was super-nervous. But everyone here was really nice and soon I felt totally comfortable! At GL, I've written things like movie reviews, book reviews, and editor obsessions. And it is so cool when I am on reading all of the articles (like I said, I love this magazine) and I get to see something I wrote!

Reviewing a great read!
Obsessed with entertainment

I'll be real—I am a huge entertainment chick. I am constantly looking for new books to read, awesome new bands and new movies. So that's why it's so cool that not only can I intern here, but I can write about stuff I love! Every day I intern here is so much fun and totally different, and I absolutely love it. Whether I am writing about my fave books or reading a new book, working here is a total blast. And when I get GL in the mail every other month, I still read it cover-to-cover!
