Half and Half Hair

 
Hair that’s half up and half down made a return to the runway and red carpet this season, and it couldn’t be prettier. This upswept style is perfect when you want gorge locks but still want to show off your face and keep your hair outta the way.
 
We’ve got three fun ways to rock this style, whether you’re goin’ to school or hitting the town for a fab date!

Futuristic Fab
Wanna look that’s catwalk cool (but still works at Honor Society meetings)? Prep damp hair with a volumizer. Blow-dry locks, using a round brush to brush hair up and away from your face.
 
Use a comb to smooth all of your hair back. Then, take a half inch piece from each side and secure it with a tiny elastic (if you make it slightly off-center, it looks extra cool!). Finish with some hairspray and jet.

Loose ‘n’ Laidback
Start with damp hair the night before you want cool waves. Apply your fave beach spray. Twist strands into a few tiny buns and secure with elastics. In the a.m., undo the buns and release the pretty waves. Apply some hairspray and scrunch for a sec.
 

Then, loosely pull half of your hair back. Gently push it forward to create a bit of height (not a full-on poof, though!). Secure with an elastic. A cute flower pin ups the girly factor, big time.

Glamour Girl
Start with dry hair. Use a comb to create a deep side part. Then, use a wide-barrel curling iron to create a few big ringlets throughout your locks. Pull half of your hair back and secure it with an elastic. A pretty clip adds just the right amount of bling!

ive made up my mind, i think its better for both of us if we just stay awaay from each other. as in not be friends, cuz we have nothing to talk about in a convo and its just weird. in the begining of the year i had a chance to be friends with him and talk to him cuz he sat next to me and he was like constanly talking to me, but i just didnt feel the same for him at that time. also i get so worked up when i see him flirting with other girls. i just thank u guys for ur help, i think i will wait and tell myself whatever happens is for the best.

so i just want to fill u in:
I told him about how i dont like him more than good friends (i told him on msn) so then he says Ohkay so let me get this straight u dont like, like me. i said ummm, no
then he said okk (this happened today) now tmrw im hoping he actually starts talking to me normally. FINGERS CROSSED. so how can i make everything seem less awkward? like i used to be able to talk to himno sweat. now its hard. and the weird thing is, when im talking to him on msn, my heart beats sooo fast, but when im talking to him in reallife, its normal! i have no clue wats going on.!

You just have to try your hardest to make normal conversation. Its going to be awkward, but if you keep persisting and act like normal, things will be fine. No prob. And rest assured, it wasn't stupid at all. Either way, it would have been pent up and come out eventually. What I suggest doing in the future is flirting a bit. See if he likes you back before you tell him so you won't face rejection or this awkward sitch if he doesn't feel the same way. Lesson learned, right? (:
