All set up and giving advice!
Hey! My name is Hallie and I am one of the new interns here at GL. It is honestly a dream come true to be helping out with an awesome magazine—especially since some of the cover girls include my favorites like Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus! Maybe one day I’ll get to meet them (that would be phenomenal!). Anyways, I love music, fashion, giving advice, and of course writing, so this is the perfect place to be for that!
Magazine dreams
Right now I am a sophomore at Loyola University in Maryland and I’m studying writing and journalism. When my friend Lizzie told me about her internship here, I couldn’t think of anything that would be more perfect since I want to work for a magazine in New York City as soon as I graduate.

Like I said, I love Miley, and being at GL is like getting "The Best of Both Worlds" (hehe!). I am getting great experience here, but the best thing about it is how much fun I am having! My friends love hearing my advice, and I love helping all my ladies out. Since I’ve been here at GL I have been able to answer all your great questions and offer the best advice I can because I wish I had great people like the GL mods to give me advice when I needed it! I also heart planning parties and having sleepovers, so I loved coming up with ideas for a Valentine’s Day sleepover and sharing some of my festive themes with all of you! And I’m not going to hide it… I did go back to my dorm and make my roomies take some of the fun surveys you see on Fun Stuff (the great news is you're never too old for a fun survey!).
Girls’ Life magazine is an amazing source of entertainment, advice, fashion, and ideas. I can’t think of a better place for me to keep up on my favorite stars and get on the track towards being a full-time magazine gal! Follow your dreams, girls, and don’t pass up the great opportunities that come along the way!
