This girl at my school is throwing a huge co-ed birthday party and my crush and I are both invited. At the party I want him to notice me but I don't know how to get him to notice me without looking like a fool. Help!

Hey chica,
Before you do anything take a deep breath and let it all out. You gotta chill, chickadee! There’s absolutely nothing to worry about! Getting a guy’s attention is easy as pie, especially in a party setting. So no need to be hopeless, just follow these tricks!
Confidence is key
First off, (before we go into some standing out tips) you gotta be confident and comfortable with yourself. This means that you can’t think about what might go wrong or what if he says this or that. Go and have fun like you normally would. Don’t make a HUGE deal out of the fact that he’s there. That’ll help you calm down and trust yourself.
Look cute!
Another way to up your confidence? Make sure you pick out a cute and comfy outfit to wear to the par-tay. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a brand new ensemble, either. Just stay true to yourself and make sure you’re wearing something that makes you look absolutely ahh-mazing. Ask your mama or your BFF for input before the big bash so you can make sure you really do look your best.
Get outta a group
Now, for the next step: Break out of the girl group. Yes, it’s fun to party with your chicas, talking in code names about who looks cute and what not. But that ain’t gonna make your guy approach you. Most dudes feel too intimidated to talk to a girl when she’s surrounded by EVERYONE. Instead, try opting to hanging out with the boys for part of the party. This way you’ll definitely look more approachable and chill.
Be the best talker out there
Another trick is to be extra nice. Now, there’s no need to make him feel overwhelmed with too much kindness, but guys just love the personal attention (they just don’t admit it!). Some suggestions: compliment him (“Great choice of a birthday present! Where did you find it?"), offer something (“I made that batch of brownies. Wanna try one?”) and start up the casual chit-chat (“How’s the soccer team going? Heard your team’s going to states!”) Guys like the little things that show that you care.
The big things like wearing a cute shirt or putting on a show? Everyone can do that. So, good luck, be yourself, and go get him!
