Hey girls! I’m Gabrielle, one of the new members to the GL intern team! I’ve only been here a month, but I’m already having so much fun and I can’t believe how lucky I am to be working for such an awesome magazine.

I’m a senior at Towson University majoring in mass communications and journalism. I’ve always loved to write, and for as long as I could read I’ve been addicted to magazines, so I was over the moon when I was looking for internships and I found out that GL is published just down the street from my house. I’m such a girly-girl, and working at a magazine where I can read and write about all things GL is a dream come true!

This is my first internship, so at first I was nervous to be working for a magazine as big as Girls' Life. I didn’t really have a clue about what goes in to making a magazine, but everyone here is so friendly and helpful! I’ve learned so much already.

I love modding and giving advice to you guys. It makes me feel great to be able to help you all with situations I’ve been through myself. Writing little articles and sharing my own experiences and ideas has been great, too. I get super-excited when I get see my name on the site!

Interning at GL is giving me a chance to put to use what I’m learning in school in a super fun way. I get to combine my love of writing with fashion, celebs (I <3 T-Swift), advice and everything in between. I’m so grateful for this chance and I can’t wait to use everything I’ve learned here in my future writing career!
