I think I wrote too much.. lol! Is it ok for magazines and posters to photoshop and airbrush celebrities? No, I don't think so! they are putting out a role model, a flawless girl and everyone wants to be them, but in reality they never can! I think that wrinkles, untoned skin, pale faces and stubbly legs are all natural and no one can be perfect every inch of their body. People should realize that THAT is what women (and men) are! Because all of us are being pushed to be more and more perfect! Plastic surgery, lazers, plucking, injections, waxing, ironing... and it goes on and on! I am fed up with it when I get on the topic because I just can't get that perfect skin or smooth legs! And the huge billboards of perfect women only shun me and make me feel out of place. Are these good role models for us to have? No! Like I was saying before, they only set a goal that isn't capable unless you aren't the natural, beautiful YOU. YOU, YOURSELF are perfect because no one else is like you!! Celebrities in magazines and TV ads are all clones.. Big knockers, no acne, and unbelievable smooth legs and no skin rolls. Its alien and unnatural and sad too because the whole 'celebrities' deal has forgotten TRUE beauty and they don't resemble themselves... Do you like to wear makeup? No. I would never wear foundation or cover my whole face, not even blush. For me, whenever I can wear makeup, Its mascara, eyeliner and chapstick. I just hate the feeling of everything covering up and clogging your face, I feel suffocated. How does it make you feel about your body when you see an edited picture of a star? Pretty bad.. But I feel worse for them because I know they are fakes. I can't compare myself to a pixeled version of Oprah! What are ways you can look and feel better without tons of makeup? Be yourself..! There's nothing to it. If you are healthy and work out, wash up and take care of yourself you know you are pretty. I know I posted "oh help me im uglyyy" stuff but now I really don't care, (Not PMS, I just know now!) Cause those women on the Venus commercial aren't real. Do you have a suggestion for girls who feel bad about themselves when they see pictures of stars? I personally don't even go down that alley! I'm not involved in celebrity gossip or drama, though I feel kinds depressed when I see it in my magazines. But I laugh when I picture them falling because their plastic surgery if too heavy for them!

I think it's okay for celebrities to be 'edited' in magazines and things, but I think the amount of changes and effort for the pictures to look really perfect are unrealistic. I think that when we look for role models we should look for people who are true to themselves and have a good personality-airbrushed or not. I like to wear makeup because it is fun to play with. Honestly, it also makes me feel more grown up, like I can handle myself. It makes me feel not very pretty. I'm overweight and it's really tempting to compare myself with everybody else. I think a way you can feel better about yourself is to be happy with what you're doing. If there's something you aren't happy with than I think helping to fix or work through that helps you to feel prettier. I would suggest that they remember how much extreme, crazy effort goes into a single perfect photograph. There are celebrities who literally spend days only drinking special mixes, and then taking an enormous amount of time to do hair and makeup. Everybody's beautiful in their own way.

Is it ok for magazines and posters to photoshop and airbrush celebrities? NO! It is absolutely not ok. You shouldn't use PS to cover acne, make you look skinnier, NOTHING! Photoshop and all those programs are great to use, but I think it seems like when celeb's get their body edited, it makes them seem embarrassed to be their true selves. Are these good role models for us to have? Personally, a lot of people think they are good role models because some people think its not edited, and thats how they really look, or its just SLIGHTLY edited. It makes people think that they need to look fake to be pretty. Do you like to wear makeup? Yeah, personally I do. But I don't wear anything near stars. A little concealer if I'm feeling tired and gruggy in the morning, and light eyeshadow. For special occasions maybe a teeny dot of liquid eyeliner, then smudge it to look natural. A little mascara. And the eyeliner would be brown, and barley any. How does it make you feel about your body when you see an edited picture of a star? Personally, I know that its edited. Nobody is that perfect looking. When I see them, I become a little more concerned about my weight, but then I realize, that I should be who I am, and just be healthy. What are ways you can look and feel better without tons of makeup? Without tons of makeup, like foundations, cover-ups, thick eyeliners, dark eye-shadows ect. is by realizing that you are beautiful. Everyone has true beauty. Sure, makeup can brighten you up on a glum day, or make certain facial features stand out, sure thats OK, but you don''t need alot of makeup to be pretty. Do you have a suggestion for girls who feel bad about themselves when they see pictures of stars? Girlies, don;t feel intimidated. Nobody is that perfect. They all have personal trainers and makeup artists and all the pictures are edited. About 98% of stars won;t let a picture pass through their view into a magazine without being edited. Remember girls, "We live in a world where seeing is not believing, we're only If you know what truly happened."
