Hey Girl! Although that time of the month you feel like there’s a spotlight on you and your every move, you’re not alone! When your period is a new thing in your life, every month is going to feel strange and super uncomfortable. Luckily for you, and every other girl, you have a long time to get into the swing of things!

Over the years, I have racked up a few tips to avoid an awkward exit and return. Start bringing your purse to the bathroom, even if it is not that time of the month. You could keep touch up makeup, tissues or a bottle of mini-mouthwash in your bag. Everyone will get familiar with you never leaving your purse behind and that time of the month will pass by without notice!

If you find it annoying to carry a purse around everywhere you go, try some other options. Depending where your class is located, you could always just keep your personals in your locker and swing by it en route to the girl’s room. Try to come up with a schedule for when you’re going to need to change your pad or tampon. Once you have figured out when, you’ll know where you’ll be and what your best plan of action is!
