i was watching a video on youtube, and i learned that a girl that i frequently watch because she does comedy videos, has emetophobia, or the fear of vomiting. ever since a year ago, when my sister got sick and vomited once, and that caused me to throw up more than 14 times in less than 8 hours, i get all shakey and nervous, and sometimes i break out into tears, when i feel like im going to throw up. i did a little research, and learned that this phobia can be caused from experiences in childhood. im 12 now. and this happened when i was 11. and if i stay up too late, or go somewhere im not comfortable, ig et all shakey and sick feeling and have to go home. i have a 2 night, 3 day, field trip coming up with my grade on this wednsday, April 7th. should i tell my mom i think i have it, and then like go to the dr, and/or email my teacher about it?? thanks!!even just learning about emetophobia makes me kinda shakey.. i got the definition off of wiki if you want to know more about it. thank you soo much!! hey girl! You should talk to your mom about it and then maybe talk to a doctor about your concerns.
