That’s right! Selena Gomez is set to star in the new movie Monte Carlo alongside Glee cutie Cory Monteith!

Cory spilled the news on Thursday through his Twitter account– and very excitedly, we might add. It is said that Cory will play Selena’s BF in the movie, but doesn’t the 10-plus age gap seem a little strange? Or did T-Swift give her rumored BF a chance to work with Selena, her supposed BFF?

Hopefully Selena won’t steal this guy from Taylor!

Also said to be cast is GossipGirl star Leighton Meester and Melrose Place actress Katie Cassidy.

OHMIGOSH I COULDN'T BELIEVE THIS WHEN I HEARD IT EITHER: Selena is really mean! So you know Nick Jonas' new album? Well apparently he dedicated it to her to get her back, and so eventually they got back together. Then she dumped him and is now with a drummer from a band. She had this article in a magazine (I think it was J-14) saying she loved messing with guys and that it was fun! How mean is that? I don't look at her the same way anymore. She better stay away from Cory because he's Taylor's and he's 10 years older than her! the movie sounds great though. What do you guys think about the Selena thing? ^^

I LOVE Glee! It's comin' back Tuesday!!! Anyway, I'm not sure that Tay and Cory are going out. It's possible, but I am waiting for an official statement. Also, I think Selena will stay away. First, he's 10+ years older and second, she's a good BFF. Another thing is, I heard that Selena and Nick Jonas just broke up, AGAIN! So, who knows anymore??

i really don't think that their actual ages are going to be the ages that are shown in the movie, to anyone that was wondering. and yes, i do agree that the age gap is pretty drastic, which is why they most likely won't get together. really, just because they're working on a movie together doesn't mean that they have to be together!

That is a big age difference! it wouldn't be creepy if she was of age but shes not.I hate how in hollywood the law can so easily be thrown out the window. I am 17 and if I was with a 27 year old that would be frowned upon, yet it is perfectly okay for Selena Gomez and other stars to be with somebody 6-10 yrs older than them when their under age? that needs to change. I don't care if it is just a movie, that sends a bad message to young girls. If it is illegal for me to date someone over age, it should also be for celebs

Okay, I don' think that Selena would fall for Cory, and yes, the huge age gap is awkward. I don't think that the person who did casting on the movie would pair them up so they might become a couple, but rather that they are both good actors and are good at acting the part. I don't think they should become a couple, but I would allow a friendship.

No way will Selena steal Cory from Taylor- that is if Tay and Cory are ACTUALLY together. This is all kinda "he said she said". I think Cory and Tay would be adorable together if they aren't together already and Cory and Selena?? Cute but the age difference might be a bit too much but then again maybe not... I'm also pretty certain Cory and Selena's romance will stay on-screen.

I don't think Cory is too old. Selena did a movie opposite Drew Seeley back in 2008, and Drew is born in the same year as Cory.
