It depends. If it's a high school graduation and he's going off to college, get or make him stuff for his room. As someone who's done the dorm thing, your brother will appreciate a pac of Easy Mac or something to help with storage in his dorm. Another option, which is always safe, is a gift card to Target or somewhere where's he's bound to find something he likes.

Hey!!! So i really really REALLY like this guy {let's call him G}. On Friday, we spent the ENTIRE day together {cuz it was Junior High Day so we just hung out and stuff instead of doing work}. So at first i wasn't hanging with him, then he saw me and we made eye contact and walked over to talk to me. Then we spent like 3 hours just talking to each other and flirting.

On June 15th my grade is going 2 a near by wave pool. SUPER FUN!!! however, it's not the whole school day, there's about 3 1/2 hours at regular school and i am stumped on what to wear. i want to wear my bathing suit under my regular clothes (not 2 waste time changing). BUT.... i don't want to wear regular clothes. i want to waer something fun & summer-y without breaking the dress code... (shorts not 2 short; no tank tops... etc.)

Hey girl! That's a really tough call. I think it depends how well you know your friend. If you guys are friends (but not super close friends) and she likes the guy too, she could have been lying to you. But if you guys are bffs, I would not doubt her. Hope that helps!

Hey girl! Gosh, I can see why that would be a confusing (and frustrating!) sitch. It sounds to me like they're trying to get some info that might help you get together with your crush. If you haven't yet, I would tell your bud what you told me - that you aren't going to stop her, but you're really upset to be left out. Remind her that it's your crush, and you would tell her if the sitch was reversed. Hopefully she'll be willing to spill if she realizes how she would feel in that position.

You don't have to name your crush specifically, but you can just mention you have one. Hey girl! This is such a tough issue. It's hard to say, but sometimes the girls you think are your friends might not turn out to be your true friends. Even if you hang out in a big group, you have to see which girlies are really there for you and invest in a friendship with you and which ones are more flaky. It could have been that the girl just assumed you were gonna go 'cause you are part of their group, but I totally understand the feeling! Hang in there and try just to invest in your relationships. Over time, you'll figure out which girlies are your true bffs!

MOD MOD MOD MOD ok so i have a kind of slight problem. there is this guy named austin that i like and he likes me back but his parents say we cant date till summer. we've been double "dating" with my friend and her boyfriend twice. one time was a movie night, the other was today and it was bowling. when i got home after bowling, i told my stepmom we were all thinking of having another movie night. then she said "well i think ur dad wants to meet austin" i freaked out my dad...........well he's..........that kinda dad that is like "always my little girl" andi dont know how my dad is going to be able to meet him anyway. he like freaks out over the littlest tings. for example, at the movie night, austin and i held hands. if i told him that, he would freak out. im 13, and i think i am od enough that i can have a relationship, and i think myu dad wil be happy to know that austin has boundries, like not dating until he gets staright a's. but, its just..........i get uncomfortable wen my dad talks about boys and i understand y he wants to meet austin, but i dont want it to sound like we're dating. can u help? and latlye, ive beeen leaving some comments for mods and they havent been very helpful. some answers were im not actually sure or check out this i really would like to hear the mods opinion, and if you dont know the answer to this mod, please dont answer it bc that puts me nowhere. thanks fashionista37

Another good idea would be to go to bath and body works and get a sweet smelling lotion or body mist, and get some cute little things weather it would be a shirt of a tote. But I think I am going to get some lotion/ body mist and some nail polish for my bffs Smile

Phys Ed 8 D 62.51% 3 Progress Report
English 8 H F 27.46% 14 Progress Report
These are my grades. If The school had summer school I think I could actually move on to 9th grade w/o repeating any of 8th grade. I HATE THE BUDGET CUTS!!! Teachers & concilers got to stay and avoid the budget cuts a.k.a pink slips they only care about their jobs ,because, if they were so worried about the students there would be summer school!
If I see my counciler in person she would proubably just say, "theres nothing I can do"
My H English class the teacher already gave me enough chances, my S.S. teacher would give everyone another chance if she could, and my science teacher gave me a D on my final project since I forgot the facts, I wrote them all though so I think I should've gotten at least a C, anything to bring my grade up, Its a science class not an english class. UGH
Sorry to bother you w/ this for the millionth time, but I really need to plan this out. I need to know something to say and stick to. What do I say to the conciler???

These are really great ideas but what can I get for my bf who is graduating? He is graduating in 5 more days. OMG, I can’t believe it, time goes by way too fast. I’m really going to miss him and I might not ever get to see him again. ): What is the best way to try to get over him after he leaves? I don’t want next year to be like jr. high in 7th grade when I had a crush on a 8th grader who liked me back and I became so miserable for about ½ the year after he left. This time it will be much worse. HELP?!?!

Hmmm...it might be trouble for you to just make one without telling them. You could always talk to them about all of the privacy settings on facebook so that you wouldn't be in danger. Maybe that would change their minds.

You could try to use spot treatment to get rid of it. I don't think concealer would be great because you'll be swimming.

I don't wanna repeat 8th grade! I rather be homeschooled for the rest of my life then repeat or flunk a grade. I don't know what to do. If I email my conciler, do you think she could help? I'm a good student, just a procrastinator. I have good test scores & i bet if my school had summer school I would totally pass on to 9th grade and enjoy highskl.Nobody wants me to repeat a grade!! What should I email my conciler?? Should my mom set up a meeting w/ people to convince them not to make me repeat a grade???

Join Chatter Boxes where girls chat all over give each other advice, share interests and things like that.

The club is divided into smaller sections such as "The Book Girls chat" or "The movie l♥vers" and things like that. The members of this club can make their own articles all over my or their profiles about what their club is about.

Another feature is just random chat, not a mini club in the big Chatter Boxes club. Just type in *Chatty Girls* and begin a completely random conversation!

There are also soon-to-be articles and advice columns done by different members of the club, as soon as the club is up and running. We will take advice about anything and turn them into articles. Just when you need advice put the category on top, for example, *Guys*.

We will also have random, cool, fun quizzes and talk about priorities like fashion and school and guys!

Hey girl, dresses with lots of detail at the top but that narrow towards the bottom are good. Also, dresses with belts that are slightly nipped in at the waist are good for your body type. Empire dresses and shirt dresses with sleeves would look good on you too!

Always has pretty good ones, and I bet U by Kotex would be a good brand to go with too. I found that the tylenol cold medicine (it is an orange liquid) kicked my cold really fast the last time that I was sick. Hope you feel better!

I am a highschool freshman, and on the bus today, a sophomore and a senior, both guys, kept asking me really embarrassing(sp?) questions. One of them was if I had ever smoked pot or gotten drunk. I said yes, even though I never have, and never will. So they kept going on and on about how naughty I was, and I really wanted to tell them I was just kidding, but I couldn't, every time I tried to talk, they would say something inappropriate. Now, one of my guyfriends, who was also on the bus, is threatening blackmail. I want to tell him that I was kidding, but he's the kind of guy who believes one thing and one thing only. What should I do? I am freaking out right now, and I think I'm going to tell my parents about it, so that if he (guyfriend) decides to call my parents, they will know the truth. What else should I do??

Hey girl, I am sorry about this. I don't think it would be a bad idea to give your parents the heads up. It was an accident so it was not a big deal, and I bet they'd love that you went to them for help instead of just waiting for them to find out. You could also explain the truth to your friend, that might help.

The pads my mom uses that she gave to me are HUGE are they supposed to be really big? It's hard for me to put it in my underwear because it is so big. Is there a smaller size I could get? Hey girl! There are definitely smaller ones that you can get. There are such a variety of sizes, so if you maybe ask your mom to take you to the store so that you can look at what all of the different options, you can see what you think is best for you now that you know what it's like. Don't be embarrassed because your mom knows what you are going through, and all girls have to go through it!

DEAR MODDD! (MOD MOD MOD) Hi Again.. I have a friend who moved away last summer. We used to be friends and we'd talk and stuff. But all of a sudden she just doesn;t talk to me any more.. We are friends on fb but she never replies to my wall posts or comments. I don't understand, she talks to her other friends but totally ignores me. I write on her wall every now and then but not too often. I feel awkward talking to her about it. Should I just leave her alone or keep writing to her? Thanks soo much!

 

Hey girl! You may feel awkward talking to your friend, but that's the only way you'll find out what's going on. Contact her outside of Facebook by giving her a call, text, or email. Friends should be able to talk, that's what they're there for. If she still doesn't respond then it might be time to let go, but don't be too sad, sometimes friends grow apart. That just leaves room to make new. Good luck!
