Land Perfect Beach Waves!

 
Loved the gorgeous, beachy waves in the June/July issue of GL? Now you can get those laidback (but insanely lovely) locks at home. Here’s the how-to.
 
Start by shampooing and conditioning your hair before you go to bed. Towel- or air-dry your strands until they’re damp, but not totally dry.
 

Work a small amount of wave-enhancing product from root to tip. Right now, we’re loving David Babaii for Wildaid Bohemian Beach Spray ($10, bathandbodyworks.com). It defines curls, kills frizz and isn’t sticky at all.
 
Weave your hair into 4-5 braids and secure the ends with elastics. In the a.m., take out the braids to reveal major texture. Need more bounce? Take a curling iron and curl a few sections to enhance your ’do. So easy.

hey i was thinking about how girlslife spends so much time telling us how we should be happy with our looks and our body. i totally agree with that. but can you tell me why the mag and website are filled with size 0 girls? i am a fit girl but ive seen how girls my age dwell on themselves based on the pictures. is there any chance that you could bring up how maybe having some normal, healthy, or even plus girls added to the mag so everyone can shine with inner beauty and relate their bodies to happiness? ps....love the mag

We do use models and profile celebs in photoshoots/articles since a lot of our readers love that aspect of the entertainment industry, but we also really value your ideas and love to give real girls the spotlight...that's what we all are, anyway! Hay girlies!
I have a fabulous club for you to come to! Need advice? Come to club sweet stuff!! We have advice in everything imaginable!! I am the official "beautybabe" for the club, so I will answer all your questions about style and beauty and makeup. There are plenty of other people in different categories to answer your other questions, so ask them too! We love answering your questions! The MODS do a great job answering out questions, but they are older than us, so sometimes they just don't get exactly what we are going through, becuase things were a little different when they were our age. Mod!!! Hey, I'm thinking about these beach waves, would they look cute with a light, straw-colered headband that is is pretty wide? ( I'm talking 2 inches )would that be cute or too much?

MOD I know this has nothing to do with this article but still Its just a place so I can remember where to go. Anyways, I pretty sure I have bad breath even when I brush alot. What can I use to eliminate my bad breath for school my friends sake...and my BF'S! lol Thanks! Joji
