Wow! Busting into your diary is a big no-no and, since you’ve already talked to your BFF, be firm. Make her understand that, if she disrespects your privacy, she is not welcome in your bedroom. You could also get a new diary—and a spygirl-proof hiding spot for it.
 
Then, write in your old diary, “This is meant for my eyes only, and a good friend would never be reading this because it is an invasion!” She should get the point loud and clear.

There is no need to be embarrassed! She went through exactly what you're going through and she knows you will eventually ask.

OMG That should not be allowed! I would have taken it right out of her hands and told her to get out of my room so we could keep her mind off of your diary and go and hide it when she leaves. That is a HUGE invasion of privacy.
