I wrote a letter to my crush telling him that I thought he was really nice and that I had feelings for him. He didn’t respond. Instead, he’s just been ignoring me. I don’t know how he feels and it’s killing me! For so long he’s been dropping hints that he likes me. What am I supposed to think?
Hey girly! So sorry to hear about the confusing sitch! Boys can be so hard to read, right? But before you do anything, here are a few things to consider that I hope will help you out.
Take a second look
One time, my close friend was interested in me and thought I was flirting back. I wasn’t. Sometimes a friendly gesture can be misinterpreted as flirting. Guys tend to be pretty straightforward.
If he knows you’re interested but hasn’t said anything about it, he may be trying to give you a lil distance to let you know he’s just not into you like that. With this in mind, take a second look on the things your crush has done. Was he really flirting or just being a friendly guy?
If you think he’s into ya…
After looking back on things, if you still think he’s def into ya, then it’s time to make a move. It may be that he’s a tad too nervous to take the first step. If you’re really into him and want something more out of your friendship, try talking to him about the note you left him or flirt a little to see how he reacts. For all ya know, it could pay off!
…If you don’t
If it doesn’t seem like he’s so into you, it could be kinda tough. It’ll be hard, but over time it’ll be easier to get over him. Try getting to know the other people in your classes or extracurriculars better. You could be surprised and end up finding some new great friends…or even your very own Prince Charming!
