Okay, so there is this boy who I've known for nine years, (we're neighbors,) and I've always liked him, we used to be like best friends, but ever since we got into middle school, we haven't really talked. He always teases me about everything when he's around people, but when we're alone he's always nice to me. The other day when I was at his house, (playing with his little sister,) and he kept spraying me with the water hose, and talking to me! I REALLY want to know if he likes me back, but I don't want to ask him, I've already sent his sister over to ask, but he never gives her an answer. I really thinks he likes me, but how can I ask him without actually having to ask him. I have one other question.
I just got new neighbors, and they have four girls. My brother and I went and welcomed them into the neighbor hood, but I REALLY want to be friends with them. They are all my age. How do I do that?

 

As for your neighbors, the answer is easy... call them up!  They're new to the neighborhood so they're probably feeling nervous about making friends and fitting in.  Offer to show them around {your fave after-school hangout, the mall, the park, etc.} and ask them how they like it here compared to their old town.  Being friendly will put them at ease - they'll really appreciate it! And the best thing to do about your crush is to start talking more.  You were BFF before, so ask him if he wants to catch up!  Hang out and get a little flirty back.  By starting to get more friendly and seeing him more often, you can really see how he acts around you...and you never know, maybe he'll open up to ya!
