Lost Without a BFF

 
My BFF and I have been friends since pre-K. Lately, she ignores me for other friends. She rarely invites me over. When I tried talking to her about it, she smiled and walked away. How can I make her understand I’m lonely?
 
Dear Lost Without a BFF,

I’m sorry you’re feeling lonely. But instead of striving to make your friend understand this, make new friends. Can you meet some girls at the pool or rec center? Who else like to swim or throw Frisbees or go to concerts or whatever it is you do in the summer? Going away for a vacation might also help clear your mind. Is there a camp friend or cousin you can visit? It’s possible you and your BFF will become close again, but when you see her, be upbeat rather than letting her know you feel lost. When you want to get closer to someone, it’s better to seem less needy.

Yeah I know how you feel I going through something like that. One of My so called 'BFF' won't even talk to me cause she said I'm turning into a freak.

In October, my best friend in the whole world and I had a really stupid fight and it was all my fault because I have w2bwd. I call it " want to be wanted disease" and I overreacted and called her bad names because I felt I wasn't important to her. I am lonely and the only friends I have are friends I dont really like or friends that don't like me. I tried hAnging with another group, but they just won't accept me. I'm lost. Ever since this fight I have been thinking I have depression and have paranoia. I wanna talk to her about it but I know she probably won't listen. What should I do?????




Hey girl, you should talk to an adult about your feelings. If you think you have depression, you need to talk to a guidance counselor -- that's something WAY too serious to be fighting on your own. As for your "disorder," we all have that to some extent. It's important, however, to treat people the way you'd like to be treated. Be the friend you want to have -- and that friend doesn't call her friend mean names to make her think she needs her friendship.

hay Chica i konw how you feel. i just moved 30 min. away from my bffl that we do everything to gether. now i'm having boy and friends problems and i dont know what to do any more. its hard for me even though i'v moved alot and i'm used to it now but its hard without her even though i text her all the time. i'm still lost without her and i would help her al the time too with her problems. is you need anything go on to facebook and look for halle rolfe

do you have her phone #? try texting her or calling her. talk things over on the phone. if she still ignores you, just move on. eventually, though, she will start talking to you again. trust me.

There's this friend of mine which stopped talking and texting to me, and even avoid me.
I guess she thinks I'm talking about her in my blog (which I did not mention names) and that is why she treats me like that. But she's guilty right? Or else why is she treating me like that. Truth is she is really selfish, irresponsible, mean. What can I do?




Hey girl! I think if that's the way you really feel about her then you two aren't really friends.  She might be offended by something she heard or read, but if you think that she's selfish and mean then you guys should maybe not be friends anymore. Think about the way you really feel about her and if it's worth getting upset over!
