Hey girl! Usually no one can tell if your on your period. I used to be SO embarrased, but with the support of all my friends, I totally make it. I've been friends with my BFFL for 6 years, and I'm 13 and our cycles are now identical, so we always to the the bathroom together, and laugh all the time about it. Even her boyfriend knows about our periods, and asks us about them and laughs about them with us. So don't be worried! If you don't want them to hear the wrapper of your tampon or pad in the bathroom, go to somewhere private, or ask permission from the nurse to use her bathroom or a faculty BR. Hope this helps!

Hey girlie, there's probably just a different material in the brand that you're using. Try a different brand and it should help your problem.

I've seen discharge for 7 months now, yet I still haven't had my period yet. Is this normal?

 

Hey girl,


Yep- that's normal! There is no set amount of time to get discharge before getting your period, so there is a wide range of normal. I'm not sure when, but your period could be coming soon, so keep a pad handy in a small zippered pocket of your backpack, or something.
