Tips for Healthy Digestion

 
When I go to the bathroom, I always have a little gas. At school, I don’t hear anyone else do that. Is something wrong with me?

Not at all. The American Gastroenterological Association says that most people produce up to a half gallon of gas each day (the result of swallowed air and the digestion of foods). That’s about 20 farts a day, so though you may feel you’re tooting alone, you’re not.

Still, there are some ways to minimize gas. East slowly and skip gum and carbonated beverages. Regular exercise will also help your digestive tract. Super gassy? Talk to your doc (they’ve heard it all, trust us!) to rule out any potential problems.
