Bra Fit Dilemma: One breast is bigger than the other!

One of my breasts is larger than the other, so I have trouble finding bras that fit well. They're either too big on one side or too small on the other. Any suggestions for finding a good bra?

Hey girl! Finding the right bra size can sometimes take a while. To find one that fits you well, you should definitely shop at a department store or a specialty lingerie store.

Don’t be afraid to ask!

Although it might seem a little awkward asking, the women who work there are there for a reason!! They’ve been trained to measure you correctly and pinpoint the right bra for your body. You should let them know you need some help finding the right size to fit your breasts, ‘cause sometimes, you’ve just gotta leave it to the pros!

Know Your Bra Basics

When you’re looking at different bra sizes, the band size is the number and the cup size is the letter. If you want to get a ballpark size—though I definitely recommend having a pro take your measurements—measure your ribcage beneath your breasts for your band size. Then, measure across the fullest part of your bust and subtract your band size from that measurement. If the difference is less than an inch, your cup size is probably AA. If the difference is an inch, your cup size is A. For each additional inch, you go up a cup size.

Try on all different types, styles, and brands, because they all will probably fit you differently.  Remember: Having someone else measure you is your best bet to achieve the appropriate fit.
