Check these out, too...
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Crorey Creations, Inc., the company behind My Friendship Bracelet Maker, is getting kids involved in the fight against breast cancer.
Throughout the month of October, they will be collecting pink and white friendship bracelets made by kids just like you and handing them out to children who have parents or other loved one battling the disease. It’s meant to be a show of support from one kid to another, all across the country.
You can get in on the action by making your own friendship bracelet. All you need is pink and white embroidery floss, which you can find at any craft or fabric store. Braid it, knot it, spin a spiral down its length. The form doesn’t matter. In this case, it really is the thought that counts.
Mail your bracelets to PO Box 380482, Clinton Township, Michigan 48038 any time this month.
Wanna get fancy? On the My Friendship Bracelet Maker website, you can find a bunch of videos with cool patterns. Here’s their special ribbon pattern for Breast Cancer Awareness Month:
What are you doing to spread awareness and support those battling breast cancer? Blog about it, babes!
