Who says the fun has to end when your treat bags are full?
With this trick-or-treat after party, you’ll be cacklin’ up a storm with your
besties long past the witching hour.
Keep It Local
If you and your pack of pals don’t live within walking
distance of each other, choose a trick-or-treating locale close to a bud’s
house, and plan to hang there when your done gathering goodies. Cutting out the
commute will give ya more time to spend having fun.
Bring the Outside In
When you get home, bring some of our outdoor Halloween
decorations inside to keep the festive atmosphere alive. Set jack-o-lanterns on
a table or near a fireplace, prop skeletons up in a chair and scatter plastic
spiders and rubber rats where they will be least expected.
Serve Up Scrumptious Snacks
Have some tasty nibbles that aren’t too sweet or heavy ready
to go for when ya get back. You don’t want your tummy turnin’ before you get to
the goodies! Think cheese and crackers, veggies and turkey sammies.
Chilled to the bone? Warm up with hot apple cider, grilled
cheese sandwiches and chicken noodle soup.
Play With Your Food
No, not dinner—that’s serious business, silly. Grab your
buds and sit down in a circle. It’s time to trade candy. Make deals with your
BFFs for the treats you love and pass
off the goodies you loathe to another victim. Sweet!
Halloween Treasure Hunt
Bring a spring favorite into fall with a tasty treasure
hunt. Get your parents in on the action. While you and your buds hang outside,
have them hide candy in hard-to-find places around the house for your hunting
pleasure. Tip: Make a list of what’s hidden where so you aren’t pulling candy
out of your sock drawer after New Year’s.
Trick-or-Treat Truth-or-Dare
Ready to get up close and personal? Give this classic
sleepover game a Halloween makeover with spooky questions and slapstick dares.
Truth: What’s your most ridiculous fear? Dare: Go down to the basement and sit
in the dark for two minutes. Truth: If you and your crush were coupling up for
your next costume, what would you be? Dare: Wear your Halloween costume all day
tomorrow. Backwards.
