Black 'n' Orange French Mani

Can’t wait to pull on your costume? With this fab Halloween French mani, you don’t need to! Pick your style—classic or reverse—and get to work, girl!

 

What You’ll Need:

 

Clear Basecoat

Orange nail polish

Black (or purple) nail art pen

Clear Topcoat

 

What You’ll Do:

 

1. Paint your nails with a thin layer of basecoat. Allow them to dry.

 

2. Paint two coats of orange nail polish and let your smashing pumpkins dry completely.

 

3. Using the black nail art pen (I like Sally Hansen’s), carefully draw your French manicure tips. For a snazzy update to the classic (Halloween) French mani, color in your nails’ half moons rather than your tips.

 

4. Paint over everything with a clear topcoat and allow to dry completely.

 

Tip: Got the polish but not the pen? No prob. Grab a bottle of black or purple polish and get to work. Use a toothpick to paint the French tips or a brush to do your moons.

I painted my toenails with orange polish, then took a paperclip and dipped it in dark nail polish so I could draw jack-o-lanterns on the big toenails & the rest had a little black dot in the center.

i do french nails using a page protector (u know those things u use if the holes in your paper are ripped) and cover up every thing but da tips. it works

I've tried those nail art pens, they don't work very well for me. You could get the same effect with a sharpie, although I would not recommend it. What I use on my nails is something called Stripe Rite, it comes in a skinny bottle and has a long, thin brush for nail art. You can buy it at beauty supply stores. Something else worth giving a try is Claire's Double-sided nail art polish.

My nails currently have jack o' lanterns on them. How to make the pumpkins? First, apply a base coat (It could be either clear or color, you choose). Then take orange polish and make an oval shape on the middle of each nail. Next, take black Stripe Rite (Or a thin brush dipped in black polish) and paint tiny triangle eyes, a curved mouth and a small stem on each pumpkin. Then take green Stripe Rite (Once again, a long, skinny brush dipped in green polish would do) and paint on a tiny leaf near the stem. Finally, finish with a clear topcoat Smile

MOD!! halloween is in like 3 days and I dont have enough time to buy a halloween costume so I was thinkin of making a costume out of my own clothes that are in my closet!! Do you have any Ideas of what I could do with my own clothes?? (nothing to grown up like a glee memeber cause Im only 10)

MOD!!!! one of my friends started texting me like everyday practically since august. he would often say we should hang out, tell the stuff he likes about me, etc. Just last week we decided we were going to go to the movies sometime, so he asked when i wanted to go. we both stated we couldnt do it that weekend, so maybe the next. now whenever i text him he doesnt answer. what happened?! i thought it sounded like he liked me but now i dont know!!! WHAT HAPPENED?!?! i dont want to seem desperate or too clingy so i dont want to text him again.. Frown Frown PLEASE HELP

 

 

Hey girly girl! I would talk to him in person, and see if you're still on for the movies. In person is so much better than through text because you can see his body language, and how he acts, which is a huge indicator of how he feels.

MOD MOD MOD .... ok i decided to be a ballerina for halloween cause i do ballet and i have all the "gear" for it .... the thing is that I live in Canada and the nights r really chilly ... how do I dress for the weather but people still know that im a ballerina ???
