Rockin' rice krispy treats

 
I love making this quick ‘n’ easy treat for Halloween. My friends love ‘em and best of all? No baking required! Whip up some for homeroom, a party, an after school snack or post-trick-or-treating nosh. Yum.
 
Ingredients:
 

6 cups of rice krispies cereal

4 cups of marshmallows

3 tablespoons of margarine

2 to 3 cups of chocolate chips

Optional: Icing, sprinkles, other edible decorations
 
Directions:
 

1. In a nonstick saucepan, completely melt and mix your butter and marshmallows.

2. Add the rice krispies and stir until combined.

3. Pour into a greased 9”x13” pan

4. In another nonstick saucepan, melt chocolate chips. Stir continually.

5. When chocolate is melted, pour over rice krispie treats.

6. Refrigerate until hard, then decorate with icing, sprinkles or other yummy decorations if you like.

7. Cut, serve and enjoy!
